Hey Manu

I don't know whether this was an intended change from todays patch, but it seems that inside in/out shots are much harder to accomplish now?

It feels like you've ran around the ball with plenty of time for the game to register, but it still attempts the ground stroke from before you ran around the ball and therefore your positioning is off and you commit an error :(

it'd be quite complex to set up such a system.
The interest will likely pick up with time. What you could do right now is offer a TE4 key to your favorite TE2013 anim modder, or something like this... :)

hopefully, I'll be able to rework some anims, including the volley ones.

The celebrations depend on the selected Forehand.

Hi :)
Would it be possible to add an option to record only for points matches? without warm-up? The idea is that there be an optional selection "Record Match Only" in recording options.

Thank you for adding a better handle on the character section and values for the camera settings!
I do have one question, Is it me or was the lucian's federer serve removed in this build? I couldn't find it.
Also, is it possible to add a legend to all animations? Specialy with the vanilla ones, sometimes I struggle to know which player is than animation for.

Fed1,
I removed it a long time ago as it was visible by mistake. If you had selected it when it was still visible, it was still available to play with.
You can try to ask Lucian86 to give you the .ini to show it in the game ; he was not satisfied with the knees moving a tiny bit, so he didn't want his anim to be visible in the game as it... :fear:

It's not just the knees..the whole animation is different than the one I've created

I think the reason you get these results is because before being exported in another format, they need to be baked first. No idea how to do that.

It looked pretty nice if you ask me Lucian, and I'm sure this amazing community will find a way to make all the animations te4 friendly.

Hope that we can have plenty of more animations in the future, but for now I just want to say thank you for all your hard and excellent work!

it's because the new player arm & leg proportions have changed a bit.
If you have the time & the will, you can try to follow the instructions in the "[Optional] To transfer a TE2013 anim to the TE4 bone structure" section here : topic29-33190.php .
It won't fix the knee issue, though, which is a separate matter : it comes from the Unity IK. Although I guess I could disable it for the anims that have been converted to the TE4 bone structure... :thinking:

I really liked the last build, the racket size makes a difference for me and now it looks better. Speaking of which, I feel the judges are way to big. I mean, if you move the player close to them they seem to have the same height almost, and they are crouched. Is it possible to make them smaller?
Also, given that they look the same, Would it be possible to create a couple of different models? If we could have at least 3 types of judges it would make a great atmosphere, And perhaps maybe their clothes could be moddable? I can imagine having different clothes for the judges and ball boys depending on the tournament :) :)

1) the line judges are 1.84m high, including their shoes, so if you feel they're too big, it's probably just a perspective trick... :)

2) I have another completely different model for the line judge, and I'll try to remember to make this one moddable (the Modding system for the NPCs itself is already done in TE2013 and it works in TEM2/TE4 but I didn't put the texture in the right folder for the line judge :P )

I think the career might be bugged.

If I select tiredness off in the character sheet, I still have to turn it off before every match I play?

Awesome! I think this is a small detail bu it adds to the overall look of the game. Hopefuly we can also have female lines and ballgirls in the future, but of course, really low priority.

Meanwhile, you can turn it off before each match in the Match Presentation screen when selecting your player.

I am sad to see the regression of the animations compared to TE2013. I think that should be the first priority for the game development.
Once the game will feel smoother and more realistic more people will finally join the tour and make it more active than the current cemetery that it seems...

I'm not a game developer, but I guess it would be useful to have a bigger team of developers to make the progression times more reasonable. It's plenty of guys out there.

I'll be keeping an eye on the game, but for now I don't think it's really enjoyable to play :?
