yes, the Motion Matching will be done after v1.0 ; it might be several months of work to put it in place.
BTW, v1.0 = start to port the game to consoles, not the end of development (except if the game really stop selling or other bad things

I have a decent budget for improving the anims, although I'm not sure how much it'd cost to clean a lot of motion-captured anims, so it may be a bit tight ; I probably could do it by myself, but I'd rather spend my time of other stuff. I'll see when I'll get there.
The next step is the stretching anims, as pointed out in the post...
