anrox335,
we did a few extra animations, but I can do these ones myself in my office anyway.

tmihai20,
thanks ! :)

Thomas,
he's not the fastest player ever, but he's in good shape and faster than most amateur players, including myself at my top, and nowadays I'm very far from my top... And I'm not talking only about my ankle... ':D
Plus I videotaped myself when I was ~20 years old and got humbled right away : I was very stiff and mechanical compared to pros, and blatantly slower than them, despite having quite a decent speed for a club player. :blackeye:

Jira,
there are 2 issues :
- the inertia system has a bad tendency to capture movements with less amplitude than they really have, which means they lack impact and look less natural
- Jules is already a very good tennis player, but he's 1 step behind the pros we see on TV in terms of movement efficiency (and possibly speed)

That's fine. Couldn't you like sped up the anims or something like a +5% idk hahahaha also what about the other sugestions I did, are there any plans on introducing split steps for returning when standing still and mid rally if you are not pressing any movement input when the opponent hits?? (that's the way I move personally while I play, just like irl tennis I stop right before they're gonna hit so I think a split animation happening there would be neat)

Jira,
the plugin I'm using recommends speeding up the animations by 10% max, but it won't make them look powerful like a pro who actually can reach that speed.
I don't have plans to add the split steps, but we recorded that animation just in case.
