as long as my income is decent enough (even if it's not as great as hoped ), it'd feel unethical to ask people to use Patreon ; plus the user base of TE is kinda small so I'm not sure it'd have much success anyway...
If money starts to become really tight, I'll think about it, but right now, it's still ok as I said in the mini-blog post...
In the long term, I'd like to get enough money to fund my next game even if it's unsuccessful, which feels not possible with the current income, but with the console release, it may become ok...

Sorry to hear about COVID in your household Manu. My family all got it for the first time in May and it was rough. Glad to hear everyone is feeling better now though!

The help mode for new players and people who still prefer TE3 seems like a great idea, and a good way to solve two problems with one feature. Excited to see it!

With every update the game gets better and better, and so many of us appreciate all the work you're putting in.

To play a Unique Tournament, click on World Tour -> Start a new game, then select "Unique Tournament" as the mode. It's not super visible, that's why I put a label on the "Start new game" button, listing all the available modes, hoping it'll raise its visibility.

I am telling you. I think its crucial for you to release it on consoles ps5, xbox series x because there are many tennis games fans there. And its also crucial to make it moldable there. There are already some tennis games where you can download players and stadiums online from the community and play them is ps5, xbox.

as stated in my previous mini-blog post, the console releases will be my priority once the gameplay enhancement & polishing will be done. Although I have no idea what the reception will be. Maybe TE4 is way too much of a simulation for the average console player...
Also, maybe it's not too smart to release on consoles before seeing what I can do to enhance the animation, but energy & money-wise, I think I don't have too much choice now...

Glad to hear that you're alright, Manu. My family also had that thyroid issue so I know it really sucks...

I hope we didn't discourage you to try new things on the game, even if we complain is all about trying to help you improve the game, and it's normal to have some resistance, that means that the game is an awesome experience gameplay wise but please keep trying to add more features! Trust your instincts as they get us this far and we'll follow gladly!!

I already sent you my opinion about the context-action button, regarding the serve I do agree that a power bar is not the best approach, I'd explore the idea of ball placement and timing to make it more a skill based strike.

PS4 owner here, will buy it probably day 1
