Everybody,
I just upgraded the 3D Engine to DirectX 9 (*). Download the patch and let me know if it helps for your issues or not => https://www.managames.com/download.php?T ... ch_W10.exe .

As it was working fine on my PCs before, I can't tell if it will change anything for people experiencing issues...

(*) It turned out it was faster than expected, although not much simpler...
But I guess I had to do it for TEM2 to avoid compatibility issues, so here we go...

If you never installed DirectX 9, you might need to install this => https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... 35&nowin10 .

how should I install this patch (where exactly to extract the files etc.)? I´m worried that I lose all of my existing games and I don´t want to mess anything. Thank you very much

just install it over your current installation and you'll be fine.

hi manutoo, my game is also stuttering while playing. I already have set it to 'high performance' but it's still same.

When I'm playing warm ups or a practice match, it's no problem, everything fine. but when I'm playing offline, my game is always stuttering...

can anyone to help me? a thanks of lot!

did you Mod the game and does the issue happen in Davis Cup match ? If yes, it's a problem with Modding, not Win10.

Hello manutoo, my TE is stuttering too.
I installed ITST 1.18, but I verified the same thing lounching vanilla version too.
I have done no modifications, no changes, nothing but a week ago it began stuttering (seems as it is in replay speed losing many frames).
It does it in online play and also during match with pc.
Before it all goes smoothly without problems...
I initially suspected a pc temperature problem due to last weeks hot weather, but interior room has changed by 2/3 degrees and many software doesn't reported any real problem(I tested it also with 30m gaming with Crisys 3 without problems)
I'm not a great player...I can also reinstall from scratch if it woth, but ....

a person reported a similar issue and it was linked to Windows Defender doing stuff in the background. You might want to check with Task Manager if anything else is taking up CPU resources while you play TE2013.

1 important thing I just thought about : game engine is locked at 60 fps, which means if your monitor refresh rate isn't 60hz or 120hz you'll get some small but annoying stuttering.

To fix that, if you play in Exclusive Fullscreen mode, be sure to select 60 or 120hz for the resolution's refresh rate.
If you play in Windowed or Fullscreen Window mode, you need to set your Windows desktop resolution to 60hz or 120hz.

try to uninstall the game, manually delete the game folder ( "C:\Program Files (x86)\Tennis Elbow 2013" by default), then reinstall the game, your Key. It may fix the issue.

Hi manutoo, have been tried many times, it's still the same. My dad told me it's because of my processor (i3). It would not be strong enough?

your processor should be ok, as the game needs very little bit of CPU power.
Issue could be with your GPU/IGP. Try to set the game details to Very Low in the Video menu.
