Hello mods, players, users and anyone reading this post.First of all, i would like to say that all the content of this post is my opinion and should be respected by everyone as i respect all your comments.
I know i'm not a saint in this forum and maybe i don't have even the right to post in this topic but anyway...
After what happened with Kuga/$her@z, i think it all started from lies and cheating. As you can see in
manutoo's topic, Kuga lied to have advantages in TE's online gaming, and cheated to keep the lie going. Thanks to manutoo and his Super Agent 86 work, we finally know the truth after a long while of Kuga's mod period.
It's obvious we need a replace for him, since Challenger and Future tournaments don't have a mod now. Between some few options (3 so far), i think the most experienced/capable guy is
Heinrich von Westphalen. Actually you can see most of the posts of this topic are related to supporting his "campaign". He will reach #1 singles spot next week, he talks German, English and a bit of some other languages, he meets the requirements of the 1st post and he has plenty of experience to be mod. However there are some consider-to points:
1. He has some unreleased/unfinished projects with no specific reason for leaving them. (i must admit all his job was pretty impressive, but he never released something for the community):
topic29-14985.php
topic29-14691.php
topic29-16567.php
topic29-15310.php
topic29-15083.php
topic29-14922.php
topic29-14905.php
topic29-14840.php
topic29-14718.php 2. As he courageously said, he had a ban for multiple accounts. That case occured when his activity was pretty low, but lies are lies and liars never change (hopefully he changed).
3. His trollish posts (aka: bringvictory.com, mocking, and all the plenty of his jokes)
show an attitude that wouldn't be appropriate as a mod.4. Following his words, a possible retire would be planned for the start of 2015, which (i guess), forces the community to choose another mod within some few months.Actually this would be his second "retire"
after the top-spin polemic that (it looks) already finished.
Finally, as you saw in most of the topics i mentioned, i fully supported his job as TE Modder and will support him in case that mods choose him as the new Mod.
I just want the best for this community, wishing democracy will work well this time.
And no, i'm not suggesting myself or anyone else for Mod.Kind regards,
Nigogu.
