just to clarify... i trained on realistic with pc and it was great .. thats why i voted to realistic... but when i played online.. i tried serve and receive.. its a catastrophe.. i cant receive as players now... no one actually can receive with accelerations any more... unless he guesses serves.. so i will change my vote to fair mode... until serve percentages are changed in realistic.. cuz realistic is great as rallies are so fast.... but i cant receive

I have the same opinion as the Markizo. Service very affected by the outcome of the game. On the fair mode is too weak but on the realistic is too strong. Please change your percentage of service at realistic mode and it is OK .

I just have to laugh on you MG tour guys how you think that your old setting is pro and simulation-like while playing in realistic is arcade . Very funny to read. I tell you something, your setting are already badly set and it cant be more arcade actually. I dont get it how can someone play in fair mode + previews on and elite on. That just completely counter-attacking settings you can have in TE online jesus. And still you consider yourselves as pro and hardcore players . I just dont get it. Few weeks ago i just came from the other tour to this vanilla to see how is it and i tell some 4060 ELO or alike guy called i think Verdasco or such could not score a single winner in his losing match 1/6 since i was completely superior to him in terms of everything but especially with reflexes and movement( and by movement i dont mean circle dancing like here is very common thing but actually very close running on baseline, why ? because i already used to play without previews and the fact that speed is lower than power of strieks ) when you just come from no preview setting and where the power of strikes are higher than actual speed, and my suggestion for your tour would be if you want to preserve fair mode to switch to simulation controls and turn off all preview but serve, especially i would abandon elite controls since its completely anti-attacking play style settings and especially its awkward in the net with it.

Oh, i just want to see when you beat Verdasco with 6/1. Its only posible on some great lag or fun match without result importance. I like to see you on tour, where you can show your power reflex. Lol

Time for my point of view.
I spent whole off season on praciticing in elite fair mode. Then I realize about switching and last week played with simulation.

Its all about serve...
Service is now clue. When two players with similar elo (500 difference) play, first who will have bad service game will lose. Many sets are only about who first will have few crap service in a row. Receiving 210 km/h service is hard. \
... and mental skills
Thats connected with service. When its all about staying calm and serving well you have to be strong mentally.
Long matches
Now I expect more 7-6, less 6-0. Of course not when I play with much better guy.
Frozen elo
The most important thing to make your elo higher is defeating players with close elo with your one. Fair mode made differences between players larger. Even when you were slightly better you could win 62 or 61. Now the differences are smaller. I won today win M.Kirilienko (in fact she was better player in that match i had luck with saving matchpoints) 76(3). She has 400 elo points more than me. That was huge win for me and I gain for it ... 0 elo points Cause the result was close. I feel simu will froze our elo rankings.
Short actions
Boom serve, boom return (if its possible), boom winner. 50% actions look like this. Personally I prefer long actions with many turns.
Killed variety of shots
Slice can be easily killed by acceleration shot. No point in trying to change rhytm of play cause your opponents has enough skill points to attack each shot without error. This same about service. I love to use variety of serve but now short service is just killed without possibility of error.
Added variety of styles
I feel now difference between Raonic-style and Murray-style is much larger. With fair all players had similar skills.

I dont know what should i think about that change. On one hand it is similiar to ATP with serve power and short actions (and thats why i prefer WTA). On the other hand it killed all glamorous long actions. I feel fair mode needs only two improvements: less consistency of slice and add more variety in player styles. Its not the best way of solving defenders problem with adding more skills and power. Wait a while, deffenders will find a way to handle it cause thay have more speed and stamina too.

Ok, i was too arrogant to you a lot of times cuz you keep pushing me for no reason and i am sorry for what i did to you after that. But now I find your opinion has a good point and what you said in this comment is absolutely true. Peace!

Service is the most important thing in tennis, you just can't put is so low(70%). The main problem on fair mode was service being so slow that it was physically impossible to hit an ace(or have decent advantage after it). That's why there were so many breaks in match.

Mario, you are right. However i find Second service with (b1+b2)% is way too high. In realistic mode, I saw few players actually hit 200kmph serves on Second serve and the ball went 3 out of 4 times in! I have to say that's more than ridiculous. And the players are taking clear advantage serving big on second serve which is quite annoying! In fair mode, this problem was not there as the serve% was lower and hence i find that amusing. Another problem in realistic mode is with stamina being very high!! And we know of baseliners(+3 stamina), so this mode hugely favours baseliners who just crush the ball but does not really have all-round game. Tennis is not just for players who crush the ball, it should give equal advantage to all kinds of styles! Manutoo should remove these extra stamina thing for different styles and make all styles have equal stamina. Power baseliners might complain about it though, so give them the advantage of hitting more deeper(may not be powerful) shots than other styles. That is what a baseliner is always known about.When all styles have equal stamina then i think it would be fantastic. Volleyers and varied style players do have great stamina in real life which was witnessed in many old era matches and recently best example of Wimbledon match between Isner and Mahut So stamina should be made independent of styles.

no no no , service in realistic mode is unbearable ... i play with some 1300 or 1200 elo guys ... they cant even hit a single ball in .. but they just keep their first serves 210 km + in all times and win their games and i have always to guess a serve or to be lucky to get a 2nd serve to be able to even have a chance to rally .. i stand 5 meters behind baseline .. still what i can do best on receiving a first gun serve is returning it by slice .. and btw , i dunno what the hell happened by slice.. before it could return deep .. now when i hit slice.. as if i am hitting a powerless ball...
i agree with realistic mode np ... but plz return old slice and decrease serves power from 90% to 70 or 75

also one more point : I DUNNO why u always forget there is a word in vocab called (Average)
cuz in fair ,,, serve was none (no aces etc)
and in realisitc,,, serve is all ( acees too much)

First serve must be unbearable simple as that. If the guy wants to risk 2nd serve it's his problem(I don't believe 3 out of 4 shots go in, it's definitely less). I personally have no problem returning a serve(if i pay attention and position myself correctly I can return 95 % of all serves), and to be honest I would even vote serve to go to 100 % instead of 90 %(but ok maybe I'm just overreacting). Fair mode was invented to help the newbies(to get more players to the game & let them get close to top players quicker), I'm pretty sure it wasn't meant to last forever. Both defenders and counters are way too overpowered on fair mode considering baseline players can only use 65%! on backhand, I mean seriously how do you expect him to beat a defender with 100 % topspin(+extra speed and stamina) having such a low power. It was hard enough to hit a winner when we all had 90 % but this is just too low both for forehand and backhand(and serve).

Mario are you joking with this serve? No one in this tour is good enough to return every serve(It will be always some aces), but maybe i am wrong... When my opponent is on serve he have about one ace on serve... Service should be lower about 75/70% I have no pleasure to play like HIT-HIT= POINT.
