send me a Bug Report from the game when you see that half-black screen (HowTo => topic5-31732.php ).
And then try to disable the Ambient Occlusion and the FSAA in Settings -> Video -> Advanced.

hi it seems like after disabling the settings you suggested it worked then, and now also after enable them again MSAA and Ambient Occlusion it still works, maybe it was something from the old version i had installed.
Anyway another bug and i sent you a bugreport i hope i did with the Scroll Lock key, is that my controller doesn't work in Game, i have also a Racingsetup connected to my PC, Wheel, Pedals, DD System, and a XBox One Elite 2 Wireless Controller, in the settings i can map the buttons and all, but in game it doesn't seem to get used.
It worked already before so maybe something changed on the newer versions?

FYI The XInput Controller is the Xbox Controller, the DD Base is turned of thats the reason why it doesn't show up

]I just tested the new linux version. It looks very good so far.
Still Ambient Occlusion isn't working, but since you said your were going to look on this issue later in the development, I didn't expect it to work.

Two things caught my attention:

- The menu to customize the player shows the player with flashing black points similar to the ambient occlusion issue, but even if ambient occlusion is turned off

- When I move the mouse pointer to the top left corner in some menus, the whole screen turns green. This happens in the character sheets menu and in all other menus, if I entered the caracter sheets menu in the same session. It's not really a problem, but it seems quite strange to me.

1) I didn't get your Bug Report. Did you click on Send ? If yes, do a new Bug Report, then manually send me your Player.log, maybe it'll show some error when sending the Bug Report...

2) Try to lower the Dead Zone in the Controls menu

What happened to court angle in the current version?

I see no setting to make the court angle lower as it used to allow me to choose before.

Now, it's super zoomed out all the time like the US Open camera view in real life.

XInput Controller

XInput is the Xbox Controller and yes when i remove all devices and let only the Xbox Controller connected then it works as it should, but on old version it worked also with the other devices connected, so something must be different on new version.

Settings -> Controls menu
correct their i can map the buttons on Player One so when i click ABXY the Buttons are regonized same with the Stick and pad
but in the menu i still can't navigate and when i play a match or warmup the controller has also no function even when i mapped them as i said.
It seems the game now takes the first found controller and doesn't use the others, which wasn't the case on older versions

Yes actually in Gnome the left top corner is a "hot corner" to open the menu, but even disabling the hot corner doesn't change the behaviour. As I said before, it doesn't really matter as it doesn't affect playing the game.

if you used the new Auto-Detect button in the Video settings, the game likely thought your PC wasn't powerful enough and activated the 2D Background which prevents moving the camera around.
You can disable it in Settings -> Video -> Advanced Options.

oops, I was not used to the new way to show the controller list in TE4 (it was 1 per line in TE2013)...
So yes, I added something to automatically ignore wheels & pedals, so I guess there's something wrong as it seems it also makes the game ignore your XBox controller.
In the Controls menu, when you can set your XBox controller, is it "Joystick 3" ? And what name is shown under "Joystick 3" ? "XInput Controller" ?
