Ok, thanks !

Do you plan to add the option to make the 2D court lines invisible in the coming update ?

So I made quite a few outfits while having player models detail level set to normal. However, when I changed the player models detail level to high the outifts changed quite a bit and I will have to make a new set of outfits for the high detail setting. Is there any way to have both set of outfit codes (one for normal detail level and one for high detail level) saved in the same Player.ini file so that the game can load them correctly when the setting for the player detail is changed from normal to high and vice-versa? Otherwise, I will have to make a separate copy of the Player.ini file to not overwrite the outfit codes I already entered in the current Player.ini file which will double the work needed to balance player skills (as I will need to do it for each set of outfits separately).

-Depending on the side of the track the lighting is different. In one it is brighter and in another it is darker instead of having a uniform luminosity (actually the brighter is much better, more detailed).

-Are you going to add workshop ??? (I see this as important, the truth)

-Are you going to add achievements offline?

leo26,
I already told you I did that...

JaNeZoKu,
the low-detail players will likely go away in the final release : they are just placeholders while we wait for the new 3D players in lower details.

Edadepiedrix,
1) This depends on the sun reflection

2) I'm not sure but I guess I'll do it at some point. At least the Modding will be done to be compatible with Steam workshop.

3) Yes, for the Steam version (like TE2013 & TEM2)

@manutoo I think it is an absolute success that you are going to integrate Workshop into the game.

The sun reflections did not quite convince me as you have done. Another problem is that players abuse the swipe online, it is too easy to control.

Otherwise the game improves with each version, I think you are doing a great job. Let's see if we have a specific mod soon.

Edadepiedrix,
what is the "swipe" ? Did you mean the slice ?

Ι think that the slice animations are a bit unrealistic, especially the forehand slice.

Hei Manu! Nice work on the game. It seems so real ... the only thing that could be improved would be the volleys and a little the slices and also if you could have more styles of play. What do you have left to get more or less 1 version 1.0? Animate and modify?

Can I change the sun position or the shadows in 2D courts ? I noticed that shadows look very different than in 3D courts.

campos99,
1) What do you mean by "more styles of play" ?

2) There are still a lot of big things needed for the v1.0 :
- I have 10 more 3D stadiums to integrate
- new chair umpire, ballboys & crowd
- new gameplay stuff & many tuning
- tutorial
- Modding support
- and many, many smaller things :)

Also, but maybe these things will wait for version 1.0a or b or c :
- better animations
- service training
- single tournament mode
- commentaries

leo26,
No, you can't change the shadows. Which ones give you an issue exactly ?

I updated to the latest version but I'm still experiencing the same problems with player attributes which I already mentioned on page 24 in this topic. Many players whose skills I edited in the Players.Ini file have their Physical attributes much worse than what I set up. :-\

JaNeZoKu,
after 28 years old, the player physical attributes will start to deprecate. You can add "Elderly 100" in their Talent ( = Forever Young) to lower the drop speed.

That's not the issue. The issue is that player skills in the main menu of the World Tour are not their best skills. Here's an example. I just started a new game to test this. First I set starting year to 'Auto' and I picked a random low-ranked player that I'm not interested in. However, while I was scrolling through players to choose my player in the main World Tour menu I noticed Mandlikova's physical attributes (speed and stamina especially) were much worse than what I set them up to be. Screenshot:

Then I exited the game and started a new World Tour game, again with a low ranked player that I'm not interested in, but this this I set starting year to '1985' when Mandlikova is doing well, so I went to Ranking Boards, found Mandlikova and now her skills were different than in the World Tour main menu. Screenshot:
TE4_Screenshot002.jpg

So the issue is that player skills in the main menu of the World Tour are not their skills from their best years. And I noticed it does not happen to all the players, but randomly to some players. Yesterday I noticed it with Graf, but today not with Graf, but with Mandlikova and some other players. So it is very confusing as I don't know what triggers it and it makes it hard to properly balance players. I also noticed, before updating to the latest version, that no matter which numbers I put for Ai Sugiyama (and some other players) in the Players.ini file her physical skills would always end up low/below-average (at least in the World Tour main menu) and this is a player whose best rank is #10 if I remember well, so this shouldn't be an issue.

I think there is some ninja hidden bug happening with phyisical skills but I cannot figure out what causes it.

@manutoo I mean the hard hit

I hope that you will make a closed beta of the online mode so that we can express our opinions. I think this is important.
