I think it is a very good idea to slow down the movement of TE2013, because it was often ridiculous how sometimes the opponent would return every ball no matter what, but after playing TE4 a bit, I think it was slowed down too much. It feels at times very cluncky, which makes positioning yourself really hard. Imo I would like to see a faster gameplay again.

I just updated to the latest build and it seems the 2D court stopped working. Everytime I try to start a match with 2D court on, the game crashes.

About the pacing discussion, I think the new game pace is very good, very realistic, especially with the new variations (being able to send a shot to the net when accelerating with slow balls, or getting more angle when attacking high balls, for example)

does it crash if you go into the Character Sheet as well ?
Could you try to disable your anti-virus to see if it helps or not ?

My GPU is GTX970. I just updated the drivers (it was outdated by 2 years ) and disabled antivirus. The problem still occurs. 3D matches work just fine, but 2D matches make the game crash when loading the match. It was working with the subbuild I was using before (I don't know exactly which version it was, but I downloaded it on August 31st). The current version I'm using I downloaded on September 7th.

I will send you the Player.log with the crash information.

I forgot to answer your other question: yes, it crashes when I go into Character Sheet too (in this case, independently if I chose 2D or 3D in settings).

I'll likely try to build the next update with the newest Unity version, hoping this crash has been solved.

I just checked noname1988 post and his problem is exactly the same as mine. I also have the graphic glitch, the horizontal line in 3d matches. It appears just for a small fraction of a second, just a quick flicker.

My Windows is 7 indeed.

One more thing I noticed: the loading screen when we start the application disappeared. I don't know if this was intended.

as I suspected the crashes were only happening on Windows 7. As I have an old PC with it, I could test and locate the crash, and fortunately it doesn't occur with the latest Unity version, so I updated the game to it for today's build, hoping it won't bring new annoying issue...

Manu, the latest build solved my problems as well. Thanks!
Now I have two questions:

1) When I play in 2D mode, the camera is working funny. It seems some distortions of the field are taking place. That wouldn't be a major problem, but when I come to the net I cannot see the opponent, the camera is too low. Maybe you already know about this, but I decided to post here anyway.

2) I downloaded the TEM2 Modding SDK, as you suggested, but when I put something in Mods folder it seems nothing happens. Is it on purpose? The Mods folder loading is blocked for now? I just wanted to test some things about the new Tour.ini format.

1) It's a Unity bug ; I had already fixed it, but that stupid Unity keeps auto-updating itself to put the bug back...
I added a trick to avoid that, so now the bug will keep on being fixed...

2) Modding should work ; be sure to get something like this : "Mods/MySuperMod/Ini/Tour.ini".
