xxx,
1) Hopefully, soon (a bit more info => viewtopic.php?p=266283#p266283 )

3) No

Andynator7,
1) Did you play against Incredible difficulty ?

2) Sliding is all direction, but the animation is totally off when it's happing forward/backward (ie: side steps somewhat looks like sliding, while running forward/back doesn't) ; so there it requires better animations to see better what's actually happening

3) Settings -> 3D Match -> Show Info on Error -> Off (this option is in TE2013 as well)

Baby Yoda & xxx,
I have very little time to work and a million things to do, so I try to do the things in the order that saves me time.

@manutoo and it would not be better to publish the Early asces version in steam at the same time as here ???

That way many more users will help you in the development and you will get more money to be able to develop the game.

I speak in a forum and there are many people who even want to pre-book the game on steam.

You should give that option.

There are also users who ask to have it in gog. On that platform, your game has more visibility.

xxx,
there's a lot of negativity on Steam that I'd rather not deal with for the moment.
And there are enough users on my forums and they are all nice (except one but he's gone :blackeye: ), so it's alright for me..!
Thanks to the not-great-but-decent sales of TEM2, plus the people pre-ordering TE4 here, money shouldn't be an issue for the next 2 years. Time is, though. Really very much.

And Steam usually doesn't allow to pre-order games except for big companies. :fear:

Sounds good to me. But there are people supporting this project that will have its steam version later than the rest.

It seems to me that they are all the advantages for you, but not for those who buy the game here.

xxx,
you'll get the game right away if you order on managames.com , so before anyone plays it on Steam.
For TEM2, the Keys were available 2 days before the release on Steam : topic11-31366.php .
But I can't guarantee it'll happen in the same way for TE4, so if you really want to play on release day with the Steam version (which will be identical to the managames version), then you can wait for the Steam Early Version release (and I don't know when it'll be available on Steam :fear: ).

@manutoo I would buy it here if you assure me that I will have the steam key before the rest of the players who buy it in steam (it's fair, as with tennis manager 2).

If one day you can ensure that, tell me because I speak in a forum and there are more interested players.

I've played tennis elbow 2013 for many hours, it's a great game.

I think the same @manutoo. If you are able to have the steam game before the rest of the users bought it right here.

Hello,
I am playing TE 2013 since 1 week ago and I love it that much that I pre-ordered TE4 just 2 hours ago! And well, I am a bit desapointed... Ok I know my PC is an old machine Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40Hz with 8Go memory and GeForce GT 520 with DirectX11 installed and that surely must be the reason why it is so bad compairing with TE2013  ?? With video settings at minimum there is a laq of fluidity obvious on gestures, moves and displacement of the ball. And also an important delay keyboard response. :annoyed:
I"m wondering if it gonna be better in the next release of TE4 because I don't envisage to buy a new machine shortly  :(

How ever thank you so much for your job, Amazing! :bounce:
Laureen :)

laureenaz,
the GT 520 has only 365 points here : https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/midl ... _gpus.html , while the Requirements on the 1st page says you need 1000 points to run the game with the 2D courts.

However, depending on your PC, you may be able to change only your GPU. In this case, for a desktop PC, I would recommend these 2 GPUs, for a correct performance without being too pricey :
- the relatively recent GeForce GTX 1650 : https://www.newegg.com/p/pl?N=100007709%20601332298 , about US$150
- the older and slightly less powerful Radeon RX 570 : https://www.newegg.com/p/pl?N=100007709%20601296379 , about $130

I'm basing my choice on the performances and prices listed here : https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html .

Petite question :

Où pourra-t-on retélécharger le jeu une fois que la MAJ sera faite ?

Et qu'en est-il pour les vrais noms ?

Merci en tout cas, j'attends avec impatience le mode carrière :)

2) They will stay the same than before

French forum is here : forum21.php ... ;)

HeadHunter,
considering how things went badly last 2 months, likely not before February 2021... :fear:

Hello everyone!

This is my first message here. I knew about TE2013 years ago, but now I decided to get the TE4 offer with TE2013 and boy, this alpha ROCKS. I've read some comments in the last pages and I think there is too much negativity? I mean, it's an alpha, and it's probably better than any tennis game out there. I just came here to congratulate everyone who worked on this game (not only Manu, but the modders, of course!) and to pretty much say: thank you.

By the way, I saw the Twitter account and maybe some more updates would be nice for visibility (?) It's just an idea, I know you don't have that much time for social networks.

Again, thank you for your efforts! Looking forward to play as Novac Djokovic in pretty much HD :)

manuelianni7,
I'm glad to know you enjoy the game already ! :)

As long as the game visuals are not final or near it, I won't do any marketing around it, for a basic reason : you don't get a second chance at giving a 1st impression..! :blackeye:

ie: some people seeing the game right now might think there are not enough changes since TE2013, or it doesn't look good enough, or etc., and thus discard it. :fear:
