Hey Manutoo, I don't know if you've missed my post or if this wasn't the right place to post it but I really want to know if we'll get a free Steam key if we buy it before it comes out there. If that's the case I'll buy it right away

And now regarding the actual gameplay, I noticed certain players don't appear when I start my career in 2018. Example: I started a season in 2018 to simulate everything and see where Del Potro would end up in the rankings but straight away I checked the ranking board and he's not there. He's not the only one missing as Leonardo Mayer, Horacio Zeballos, and surely many more are missing as well (I just mention the ones I noticed because I'm from Argentina )

I could post a picture or send you my saved game if you'd like!

2) 2018 is a fictional year, so players who already had a long career will retire in 2018.
In Players.ini, you can easily add 1 RankPerYear for each player you want to go on in 2018, though. (or add 2 RankPerYear if you want to see them in 2019 as well, and so on)

Hi, Manu. I'm playing 2018 season right now as a junior. I notice that the name change works fine only on pro tour. Once you try to edit some names in junior tour, the change won't be applied to those names (who are the players from 1983, I suppose) unless you restart a new game.

Is it because how the database of the game works?

2018 is a fictional year, so players who already had a long career will retire in 2018.
In Players.ini, you can easily add 1 RankPerYear for each player you want to go on in 2018, though. (or add 2 RankPerYear if you want to see them in 2019 as well, and so on)

Oh I see. Could you explain a bit how it works? Because Del Potro (30) retires but Federer, Nadal, Djokovic and many more that are older than him are still playing in 2018. Is it because you added a 2018 rank for those specific players? What is the criteria for a player to retire?

Hi Manutoo, my game crashed and the error window said "bug #741". This happened immediately after I reached the top 500 in the rankings. I also edited some players (added playing years) before I started the career so could that have caused the problem? I hadn't experienced it before.

old players with ranking less good than 5 retire right away, and the ones with a ranking better than 5 they play 2 more years.
However, there was a bug as Del Potro isn't old enough to retire, but as he started young, the engine thought he was old. It'll be fixed for next update.

For the bug, if you have a saved game just before the Top 500 pop-up, then send it to me with the modified base(s), I'll check what's going on...

It may or may not be important, but these bugs were found in the version before today's release:

1) The text inside the box for buying a new facility for the coach centre is very squished up.

2) I somehow gained a whole lot of money for my character whenever I had only played a few futures and challenger tournaments, with the only exception being the Australian Open qualifying. I noticed this about half way through my second season with this character, and I have a save file if you need it.

3) No save file appears visually on the auto save slots. I only knew the saves were there because of the "x" beside the save files, although there doesn't seem to be any auto save in slot Z.

4) Whenever I reached the end of the first season, I lost my doubles partner without any notice. I don't think he retired so that's not the issue. I also received the "Do you want to qualify...?" optionfor the doubles after I had no partner for the tournaments I had already entered .

1) Fixed for next update

2) could you send me your saved game ? It might have a trace from where you got that too much money in the Accounting screen.

3) It's normal ; their content is shown only in the Load screen

4) It might be your partner not being Junior anymore, although it should show a message when it occurs, I'll look into that... (send me a saved game just before end of the year, if you have have)

I purchased TEM when it first came out some years ago, when will the new version be available for purchase?

Save files sent, although I did notice whenever I reopened the game the auto save slot Z definitely doesn't seem to work for auto saving.
