Really fantastic game, great job Manutoo... :headbang:

But, I have a problem...when I play online, especially when I host the game, my player starts to run, during one or two points, on left...I loose totally the control...
I don't know if somebody else has the same problem...
maybe it's my computer... :?

Hi Manutoo,
could you add an option during an online match that player can retire after second game without losing ELO, if his opponent agrees to that?

I think this would be an useful option. Let's say, for example, Tog and Chiller (or just any two random players :) ) are playing a tournament match, and one of them has to leave and they agree to continue later. Then one of them must retire and lose his ELO.

On a second thought, it would be even better if there was an option to save an online game! Then later when those two players are about to play a match, an option 'continue saved game' appear :D

Would one of those two things be possible? :)

the second one is a good idea, but i think the elo penalty should stay as it is now

Why?
I wouldn't change anything, I would just add an option to avoid losing ELO if opponent agrees.

Picture this situation - players start a match, it's very laggy, almost unplayable, and after 3 games they realize that it is better to try some other time. But now one of them has to retire and lose his ELO. And this is just one example.

On the detailed Head to head before you play a match, it always shows the head to head with steffi graf, not the player you are about to play

i don't know, i realize that the match is unplayable before 3 games...

@Everybody :
Version updated :
- possibility to change double partner (almost) all the time
- SubLevel is now correctly saved when starting a new game
- Head To Head list with the correct player is now shown when opened from the match presentation screen
- if the 3D models can't be loaded, the game will tell you to update your video drivers & then exit instead of crashing
- improved new version detection, able to make the difference between a new version needed to the online mode and an optional one

https://www.managames.com/download.php?T ... 9_ffe4.exe [All download links lead to the latest version, this one is just here for your convenience]

Note: all new versions are compatible with your current saved games, as long as you don't completely uninstall the game 1st, except if it's clearly stated in the update details.
So just install the new version other your current installation, and it should be fine.

@dieguito :
Yes, all players & rankings evolve from 1990 to 2024..!

@Algo :
Thanks to report this bug, I'll fix it later... :)

@Sex Droga Bodiroga :
Are u player with a joystick, a gamepad, or the keyboard ..?
If the keyboard, try to change ur keys to "4, 5, 6, 8" on the numeric pad instead of using the arrow keys.

@stuey :
>> can retire after second game without losing ELO, if his opponent agrees to that

yup, it's an interesting idea, I'll add it someday.

>> 'continue saved game'

I think it'd lead to problem, if someone go on a game at 5/4 40/0 against a player that wasn't aware of the score, so I'd have to add plenty of information, so it's too much work for right now... :roll:

Hi Manu,

Just wondering how much is the discount for the people who purchased both TE2006 and TEM?

Thanks!

Ey Manu, I just found a mistake in the translation to spanish. When your opponent is in the menu, I put "X está en el medio", and it's "X está en el menú".

I'm sorry :?

Alot of the players who have two handed backhands have one handed backhands on the tour.

@dieguito :
I created a topic for your question here :
https://www.managames.com/Forum/ftopic1708.php

@lucho :
The discount depends of when you bough TE2006. Counting TEM, it ranges from 30% to 50%.

@Santiago92 :
Got it..!

@jenks10s :
Tell me who and I'll correct them..! :)

I think there are two major problems with the new game.

A) The amount of power is out of control. It really takes away the majority of the variety in the game. Its just ball bashing, Azarenka-Sharapova style that hurts the game. Lowering the max power would be awesome, and really make it easier to get to the net, and to use all parts of the court.

B) The amount of topspin is also out of control. Playing with 100% topspin is just crazy at its current level. It just makes it boring and impossible to play against players like Tog that use that type of game. THe amount of power mixed with the topspin is unrealistic and could never occur with consistency in real life.

Just a few thoughts, the power issue is the main thing, i hope you listen and adjust it.

Hmm...I actually think the game could be a little faster. What I mean is that I wish I could set CPU power to more than 100%. When CPU is set to Counter playing style, the power is good, but sometimes I think it could be more...even at Incredible level at 10, it hits more weaker shots than I would like to see (on styles other than Counter)...
But I agree about Topspin. It can be a bit much. But I always keep mine and CPU's at low. Online play I guess this could be troublesome when playing someone with a high Topspin.
