Yes. In fact, the listing is set to Detailed Shadows when I first see it in the options. It was working fine in a version several releases ago.

Everybody, I didn't have the time to test when I posted the previous version, and of course, the bug wasn't removed... I guess I shouldn't work on Sunday...
Anyway, this time, I took the time to test, and it seems to be alright :

With very latest update, the CPU only hits very soft shots...sorry Manu

In the version of the game that I just installed, the CPU player, on match mode, pretty much only hits very soft shots, that land always inside of the service line. Is this supposed to be this way? Also, even though I have selected the option to show strike speed, it does not display anywhere. Lastly, is there any chance that the ball bouncing sounds will be changed more? I find them too loud, too much the same always, and very distracting
Oh, good to see that the umpire has a new set of clothes. He's been the same for so long.

Something very stange happened. I uninstalled the previous version, keeping only the profile subfolder, and then I installed the latest version. The name of the CPU player that I encountered then in a match is "Mario." So strange. Maybe this is also why the CPU player is not hitting the ball as expected. I will delete the profile and start over.

CPU strikes do sometimes land past the service line, but they are normally just soft strikes. I have been completely removing the game, and the shadow detail issue and the strike speed issue have remained. I have sent to you the system.log file.

Everybody, pfff, I forgot to remove the "do only drop shot" of the CPU that I put to see if the drop shots were reachable or not from the baseline...

I just fixed that & updated the version, so u can dl it again...
I hope it'll be alright now, coz I'm done for the day...

About "Mario", I guess it could be coz it saved the name of the player u played with online.
I'll look into this later, as it's not a too annoying bug for now...

Algo, reboot or kill "TennisElbow.exe" in the Task Manager ( => press Ctrl + Alt + Del to open it )

CC, the strike speed is shown in the info bar on up of the screen which is usually not visible if the camera isn't in Still or Scroll mode.

This may be a complicated request, but is it possible to ever have the player striking motion such that at times, perhaps when the player is going after a ball from a less than ideal position, the player's legs rotate with the strike as they do on the serve? I have seen videos, for example, of Roger Federer striking the ball this way. There are times, due to player position and ball angle, that the entire body has to pivot around in order to strike the ball on the desired return angle.

The screen capture does not work for me in TE2006 or TE2009 (F11). It hasn't worked since several releases ago of TE2006.
I was playing the CPU earlier, and I smashed a lob that, according to the following replay screenshots (done with Alt-Print Screen) I should not have been able to hit as I did:













You will notice how the ball is too low when I swing, but somehow I hit it and win the point . I thought you would like to see this.

Back to the camera feature. I think it would be good to have a zoom feature on the Still and Scrolling cameras. I like how the Dynamic cameras are now, but I would like to see the ability to zoom in as I please, but the zoom in the dynamic cameras get very close to the net when I go to net. I would like the option to just set the zoom level and have it stay at that level whether or not I go to the net or not. Hence the option to zoom to desired level in Still and Scrolling modes.

I noticed a couple "bugs". Both have to do when I change sides so that my player is on the far end of the court. 1) When I minimize the Tennis Elbow window and then return back to it, my player appears back in the near court with the controls reversed. 2) Again, when on the far side, the ball appears darker during the rally. It is not bright yellow anymore and is harder to see.

I just clicked on the option to play a match against the CPU, and below is the screen which displayed:



As you can see, there is a code listed in the top left corner (4748e+009). Also, normally the CPU player would be where I think my player is, and this player would be female. When I press the directional keys, the player displayed does not move. There is no player on what should be my side of the net. One player's name is 0, the other is Playe. I don't know what caused this. I guess that I will uninstall and reinstall. By the way, this happened on my other computer, running Windows XP Professional.

I started a match a few minutes ago, and this is how the CPU player appeared:





I think this is fitting, being all black, like the black plague, because at this level, she is practially unbeatable. I am not using the run cheat, but it is so hard to hit a winner. I think she should emit an evil laugh and roar throughout the match to proclaim her dominance. That would match the black image
