I believe the speed hack does work. Trust me, I've been very, very self critical while investigating this. It simply does work.
Firstly, why does large speeds like 150 cause unplayable desynch online if nothing is happening? To me this is a sign that something is wrong. lol If I tried something like 127 speed there was no desynch but a not huge but observable difference in speed, or lack of inertia.
Manutoo mentioned that checking the stats online you can see the speed resetting to 100, however firstly I don't see a stat for speed in the player statistics. Secondly they always show something completely different than the actual stats. For example if I had 127% speed the stats in warm up against CPU showed form being 101%. That's just one example.
I also believe that many players have tried the speed hack since it was first presented on the forum and are now running around with a small but significant bonus, without being aware it actually works necessarily.
One thing I did while trying the speed hack was to make sure that when having over 100 speed, I actually had 780 points left and not less. I did this my altering some other stat so that the points resetted to their actual amount and not the false 780 and then made it 780 points left. Don't know if this is important for the hack to work but that's what I did.
Please Manutoo check one more time this because I am really sure it works. If needed I will send you some matches to view which feature two same height players of good level moving at somewhat different speed.

There ain't no placebo in that for sure!
S.Williamz wrote:Ummm I agree the placebo is very powerful. LOL Because once again I'm having this works and doesn't work phenomenon going and that often means it's not working. So I'll just leave for now.
