Tennis Elbow is not your typical tennis game. There is no arcade nonsense where every player can get the ball back like Novak in his prime, or where the AI never hits an un/forced error or misses a first serve, or where you have to press a button to get 'perfect' timing.
Tennis Elbow is a hardcore simulation of tennis. It takes hours of dedication to get better. So many people overlook this series, which has produced the best tennis game ever made, because there's a steep learning curve and they haven't the patience to git gud. It took me over 400 hours to 'master' TE2013, but when I did, every ace and winner felt a million times better than it did on any other tennis game ever.
This game is in EA and it's still better than any tennis game out there right now. The animations, and courts, and players are not important right now. Getting the balance of the game is. All that flashy stuff can be added later. If you haven't the patience to wait, buy TE2013, download Maxou's patch, and play the best tennis game ever made while you wait.
