Hi,
One suggestion; It would be great if there is a possibility to adjust game-style especially topspin, during a match, according to the surface or the opponent. Currently, once you set a certain topspin percentage, you have to stick with it for the entire tournament. In real life players can and do, vary it according to the opponent or how the match is unfolding. If this can be implemented it would be great and make the game more realistic.

Honestly at this point in the game the only thing that's missing is a little polish on the animations, otherwise the game is perfect!

Regarding the 2 previous posts, I'm 100% in with those, having variable top spin percentage would be awesome, but having multiple animations for the same players would ve even better IMO, this will allow us to use all the animations from this amazing and talented creators.

Here's some more ideas I've got from playing:
1) I mainly use an xbox controller, I've found it's a bit tricky to navigate on the menus since they only allow movement up and down, si it would be great if we can move up/down and left/right. I'm specially thinking for the console versions.
2) When I edit a player, it would help a lot if it were possible to zoom in the part of the body I'm editing. For example, when changing the hair/hat, it would be awesome to have a closer look in the face.
3) Add new clothes, I'm thinking having 2 new types of socks, one short (Like Fish) and one long (Zverev in USO 2017), long sleeve shirts and long pants.
4) Cloth consistency on the World Tour. I've found that most players from the tour doesn't have proper looks. There's nothing wrong, they simply don't have a consistency look that says 'I'm a tennis player'.

That's it for now, but the game is looking pretty awesome as it is

EDIT: I also forget to mentioned, it would be nice Manu if you can add names for the vanilla animations, that way we can know to which players all the animations are for.

Not sure if it was asked before but it would be great to have more racquet models.
How cool would it be to play Borg or McEnroe with a wooden racquet. Also more modern 90', 95' 100' and oversized one would make the game look much better.

sorry, I have not read all the thread, excuse me if something was already in the list.
I am a novice, with only few hours of training, but I have some ideas:

1. some automatic replay on best rally or a button to press for activate replay at the and of any rally
2. some close-up on the player's face after point, either the winner or the loser
3. change camera and show the players on field change go to their bench
4. in settings add judges and commentary volume level (to high for me)
5. some tutorial for beginners. Something similar to training, but with real time advice when the player hit the ball as "to soon", "to late"
6. possibility navigate in the menu with controller up/down too, not only left/right, to quickly move between many menu options

After playing and trying the game(demo) for few days i agree about the earlier posts. I would like to see players have multiple animation that would be awesome. Also great suggestion about being able to change top spin for surfaces. Other than that maybe adding few more player talents will be great if it's possible for variety and differentness between the players.

Yes, but it is difficult to manage with a controller (I can't exit form replay without keyboard Edit: just read this on TE2013 manual "To leave the Replay, push on the 2 buttons at the same time, or press the 'Esc' key" ).
Anyway sometimes some auto replay (maybe with a button to go on) create a more TV style game. Animation during field change and some replay make the game less boring IMHO. For example some replay of best points at the end of a set.

ops sorry, I didn't see the arrow to increase/reduce commentaries volume! I thought it was still a simple download button. Then only umpire volume remains to add

Hi Manu, I understand this is not an easy thing because it's an animation, but it would be cool if the players had a different animation when they run to the net against a dropshot (or a very far ball), like they give everything they have to try to get that ball.

Modding of the game will be the same as TE2013? I mean in the sense of aspects that can be modded. Let me explain: As of now (In TE2013) is possible to edit animations, outfits, stadiums, tv scores, rackets (might be missing something here, please point out if I do). I assume that for TE4 will be the same but maybe it can be a bit deeper? I'm thinking cosmetic aspects like ball bays/judges looks, even models, new clothes for players (long sleeves shirts, etc, etc). Regarding stadiums, I think you mentioned that it'll be possible to mod them but at a certain point since the way they're build, Right? That means that it should be possible to make cosmetic changes but not to the structure? Let me explain: If someone wants to do a stadium that's not similar (in terms of structure) to an existing one, Would that be possible? In the top of my head I can think of that dubai heliport court where Federer and Agassi played a few years ago.

TLDR: What is your final idea for the depth of modding for the final release of the game or even in years to come?

Dunno if it was ever suggested, but i always thought play styles should also have, besides their current boons, some flat bonuses to stats (or even some malus). Now im not talking about something like 15% to this stat, not even 10%, im talking in range of 2-5% max.
Depending on playstyle, give stat would be boosted BUT it would not be affected by "realistic" and "fair" game modes (which both percentually modifies stats). The flat bonus would be added after the game mode stats were adjusted, so basically true % bonus. This would imho made players think more about the playstyle to take as right now, the "free accel or bigger jump" is pretty uninspiring.

Example of stat bonus:
Power baseliner -> Fh/Bh power +4%, Serve Power +4% Fh/Bh precision 3%, Groundstroke Consistency -1%
Defender -> Speed +2%, Stamina +5%, Net Presence -5%
Counter Puncher -> Consistency +3%, Speed +3%, Power -5%

Stats are just for showcase.

I have been playing the demo, and one can already see how superior it is to TE2013. It's amazing!

What I would like to see, if possible, are:
- Sliding animations: Ocurrence should be higher on clay, of course, but players also perform slides on hard courts nowadays. I think it will add even more realism to the game.
- Net movement whenever a stroke hits it

The game is amazing and you can notice the huge work behind the scenes. This is a generic suggestion, valid for TE3 and TE4. I would like to suggest the next proposition:

I've noticed that the dynamics of the game are quite fluid, but still, when I see that I'm beginning to reach a certain level, I sometimes end up playing three-set matches in an hour and fifteen minutes. To shorten the matches I have come up with the following simulation option. Best of four sets matches, but depending on the result, simulated to see how the result would be in 6 sets. Example:

Actual results Simulated results
4-0 6-0, 6-1
4-1 6-1, 6-2
4-2 6-3, 6-4
5-4 7-6

Depending on the statistics of the match the players are playing, it could be established whether it could be 6-1 or 6-0 or whether it could be 6-1 or 6-2 for an actual score of 4-1.

I don't know if the purists will see it as stupid, but I think it could shorten the match times and still give us a real result of a professional tennis match.

I hope in TE4 we can have grunt start before players hitting the ball, it happens a lot in real life. And the gameplay should be more balance, Top Spin is not very effective as Flat and Slice. It's ridiculous that Flat players can hit Top Spin strike but Top Spin players can't make flat strike with good power. If it's possible, I hope we can get 2 types of strike assigned differently - Top Spin and Flat for each player.
