Hi! I simulated for a couple of years mainly focusing only on the results of Grand Slams. Still too many upsets for top players ( Nadal lost Robredo 4th round Rolland Garros 2007 and more... ) in the new build. Also top players ( big 4 and not only ) very often losing 1-2 sets in the first rounds GS for much worse players.

all of this sounds normal : TEM2 is a game before all and doesn't aim at recreating exactly what happened in the reality ; if anything, it's more inspired from the 90's tennis when the whole top 20 players were slam contenders and had a level close enough of each others, which is much better gameplay-wise as it means your players won't get constantly crushed by the Big 4 till he reaches their level and then barely never loses against a non-Big-4 player.

Anyway, if you want to recreate the reality, you can try to fiddle with the "WT_SkillNormAtp" section in the GameSys.ini of the Modding SDK : topic11-31376.php .
You'll have to make all players weaker using these parameters, and then manually boost all the RankPerYear of the Big 4.

Hello again,

Since the update I have noticed that some of the animations seem different. In particular, when players strike a forehand, the animation depicts the players hitting the ball with their bodies almost sideways in a violent, abrupt movement. Serves are normal, most backhands are OK (although a few have a similar herky-jeryky sideways appearance), and net shots are also good. But the forehands are strange looking and distracting. I don't tend to fully watch all the games, so this is not a huge issue...but when I am watching, it does undermine immersion.

it might be normal : if the ball is far, the player will now stretch a bit to catch it, and if the ball is too much on him, he'll try to avoid it a bit with his body.
If you think it's really not normal or looks too strange, send me a Bug Report from the match. (HowTo => topic19-4589.php )

Hello manu. The new dynamic system is incredible, but I see a mistake in the two-handed backhand animation. The tennis player always hits the ball crouching when this should only happen on low balls. Can you check it out?

if you see that on fast surfaces where the bounce is low, it's normal.
Also on the base anim, the player is already crouching a bit with most 2H-BH (IIRC).
Also, maybe it happens more when the players aren't strong.

Avec la dernière version, dans le training club, les joueurs se fixent après le service et la balle circule toute seule.
Les échanges ont visiblement bien lieu mais visuellement ils restent fixés à leur position de départ.
Note : en réinstallant la version d'avant, il n'y a plus le problème donc ça ne vient pas de mon mod.

In training club mode, after the serve, both players freeze and the ball is the only thing in movement.
The ball is moving as if the rally was going on, but on the screen, the players are frozen.
