Online players to avoid

Postby Maicy » 14 May 2007, 23:06

Please, write down the players who abandon or quit always without justification an online game.

- Serena Williams

note to the webmaster : you can edit that post, provided you keep the goal of that thread. This is a thread where people could list the gamers who aren't correct.

note to all : don't add a player who left once. Only add a player who ALWAYS quit without being polite, someone who is really not correct.

Maicy, you are right, "Serena Williams" just did that to me after loosing big and then the next second was hosting a new game. But i also met a few others who were polite about having to quit. Hurray for them

May it be noted that "serena williams" is not the same player as "S.Williamz".
Please do not confuse.
And I want to play against Hit'em'hard Kelly.

Please avoid a player named "GED". He is a loser who quits just before losing.

Now he is Britney Spears. "It's" ELO is something like 2200.

"Roggie Federerova" unfortunately has a tendency to cheat by going to the menus when you a serving on important points, very annoying, as you know. I suggest you stay sharp when playing with him/her/it.

"Roggie Federerova" quit the match at 2-1, 40-15 me serving. Probably wanted to keep 1400 ELO intact. There should be a penalty for those who quit match early.

100% alright with Brad.

People who leave a match MUST loose some ELO !
But only who leave ... not those who have a "real" break of connection...

A player called Serena W, is a master, pretty high ELO, retired when I was bageling him/her.
So pathetic.

Hey, we have a pack of losers. I'm boiling with anger, I played like a freaking hour match with Mary Takigayoa whose ELO is like 2400 and I had 4 match points and then...well quess what. He retired.
I wish these players would at least let me know before the match that they will quit matchpoint down so that I don't have to get angry.
Because I can play it as a practice match, I don't need your precious precious ELO points.

Manutoo, you will have to change it so that quitting match point down is the same as losing. The only way it's fair.

It still counts if the player retires on match point. If I am correct, it has to do with the number of games won/lost in the match.

Hello,

due to a mistake, the ELO was calculating when quitting a match only if you were leading it.
With the latest build, now, if you quit a match while leading it, you will very likely lose ELO point (except if your opponent has a better ELO than yours), and even worst if you're not leading.

Do not let FOREHEAD join your game!

Postby Guest » 10 Jul 2007, 04:57

A player named FOREHEAD always pauses the game by entering the menu when he's match point down. And no, he likes reading the menu so much that he forgets to order. Speak of the devil he's sure to appear... He just did it again. I was curious to see whether he'd matured a bit. And sure enough, he did not impress me :(
