Hi

Has anyone expereinced it that the number 1 player in the world tour is not playing in both singles and doubles for any event. I am playing from 2018 season and Nadal is the singles number 1 and Melo the doubles. However neither enters any tournaments untill they are replaced at number 1 who then does not enter any tournaments.

I have the parameters in the tournaments set so the best player is number 1 and the Top Presence as 100 as well. I am using ZonePlayers to create more realistic entry but this make no difference. Neither has anything down for time off in the rankperyear so I am not sure what is going on? Is there something else I need to change that i am missing?

Hello,

Nadal is injured sometimes, but not in 2018, at least not in the official base, but maybe he is in the XKT one..?

If it's not that, send me a Bug Report from his Activity screen and I'll try to have a look. (HowTo => topic5-31732.php )

I got your Bug Report : you're using an old TE4 version, with some strange errors in the player base, so I cannot do anything...

You should likely update TE4.

I've updated and cahnged some bits in the WT_Statics and the number 1 is now playing.

Can you advise what the parameters are that determine players entering a tournament. I am using ZonePlayer with a top presence of 1 to make the draws as realistic as possible. I change the country of the players to the relevant zone for them to play the tournaments. What I am finding is that in general the game puts most players in but some are randomly missing. For lower level tournaments I am using countryplayer and that seems to work fine. I am not using timeoff and the players are not playing the week before or in the doubles draw. Is there anything else at play I am missing or is there anything I can add to force players to play as much as I want them to?

Some players may prefer to play another tournament on the same week because its surface is better for their game. If they don't play that other tournament, they won't play anything else.

If they're old, they can skip some tournaments as well.

Hi manutoo thanks. I seem to keep hitting issues where players are not entering tournaments resulting in me having blank qualifiying draws and unrealsitic players in the main draw. I'm just starting week 6 of the game but for the qualifying draws I have no players in the draw for Delray Beach. I have the tournament listed for ZonePlayer = 1 and have a enough players available to fill the draw (53) but the quali draw is blank and only 22 of the 53 players are in the maindraw. For Rio this draw is better however the main draw cut off should be around 136 but its much lower and some players are skiping the tournament and I am not sure why. None are playing the week before so would the quali draw. I am also having this for new challengers I have added this week and for the relevant ZonePlayer for each of them. For the first 4 weeks of the world tour it was fine and generally everyone was playing right, but it is now not working. Is there something I am missing?

top players will avoid playing every week. Except that, it's likely still the fact that the players don't like the surface and thus would rather not play there.

I've tried making all the players have the correct FavGround for the corresponding tournaments but that doesnt resolve it. Ive also changed all the players countries and used CountryPlayer in the tournament.ini. Again this hasnt resolved it but has improved the players entering on the whole. Is TE4 more senstive to travel zones compared to te2013 or something in terms of fatigue impacting it? If so is there any way to over ride that or to over ride a players resting period.
