The first state is a stupidity, everyone knows that defenders are faster, I've tried it myself. Moonball = spinball, not lobs, but yeah, I know you are so miserable playing lobs. Extremely rare? Playing it several times just in our match. And the last one is true, if you don't know I see what you do. I didn't record the match, because I don't have that habit, but I don't need to lie, I really don't know when I lied and I've always talked to you, Manu, when I really thought it was necessary. I've never complained so much about something, I've always been adapting to something, but this is just too much. For last 3 years, you haven't done anything in PB's favour. That is a fact.

You are my best friend and I know that you are dishonest right now, you are defending your style because it suits you very well obviously. At least, be fair.

The point of playing this game is finding the style that suits us best, right?

The first state is a stupidity, everyone knows that defenders are faster

That's a lie and you can check that in the documentation too.

Besides, I think the 152kmph shots are caused by shoulder-height bonus. I think you might consider removing it from counters and defenders(they have it halved now).

Defender:

unlimited attack lobs
1 extra acceleration
topspin bonus on the topspin strike
lower handicap on length and speed of topspin strikes
low speed bonus for shoulder height acceleration

Power Baseliner:

3 extra accelerations
big speed bonus for shoulder height acceleration

Why would they have 1 extra acceleration when we have just 3 and they can use their deep spinshots whenever they want, that are hard to attack, especially on clay, so you equal PB with defender after two wasted accelerations? They have so many more benefits than we do.

Although they are so far behind the baseline, they can hit a deep spinshot, that is just impossible too often, with their good movement taking into account.

Also, when they are so behind the baseline, they are able to reach short slice or drop shot. Even when they anticipate it on time, they shouldn't be able to reach it.

Unlimited attack lobs?! Please. Moonballs aren't enough, I guess.

in my opinion it's just the "lower handicap on length and speed of topspin strikes" that should be removed from defenders, the rest is fine. I actually don't see why that should be because neither Monfils or Ferrer have that advantage in real tennis...

But when you're winning with a counter style, and especially Voja, you shouted that it wasn't unfair style.

Nah, counter is equally overpowered as before, but Florian isn't playing well enough currently ;) Defender has less benefits than counter, Voja's reactions are exceptional and that's why he can beat both of you...just a fact

I really dont think Manutoo ( if he has any common sense ) should listen to a player who played defender style for a long time, then swapped to counter ( when it got unreal ) and now plays 60%+ points on net, hypocrite. The 152km h shot , done by me happened and can only happen when a safe shot is played by my opponent, and it is also rare. My style is totally fair, all I have that other players dont is SPIN, and spin decreases speed on groundstrokes. Also, defenders cant get into the ball earlier( that is total bs ). Everybody can play deep strokes if they know how to, from almost every possition on the court - if u know how to play this game well enough. Im just sorry for you who cant accept that I am better than you, or at least beat u more often than u do me. Drop shot and lob can be played with any other style as good as with defender. So many players have swapped to counter when it was much better than any other style ( and that was recent ) , so if defender style is so easy to play with, why dont u ? Defenders have no net jumps...especially me, unlike other players, and we all know that net is pretty often the key of the victory these days. Also id like to give Oussama an advice : learn english before u post on this topic, especially when you attack no1s style.

A few facts :
- defender doesn't have any run speed bonus
- PB / Puncher / Varied are the only 3 styles to get the full shoulder height acceleration speed bonus, and it was added last summer
- run speed has been lowered in last January for all styles, thus making defending a bit harder
- somehow, I doubt Voja is using Attack Lob to moonball
- clay is best surface for defenders

To summarize : if anyone wants to convince me of anything, he's better to get his facts straight 1st, instead of telling total non-sense...

adner,
i think the shoulder speed bonus is needed for defender (even if it's halved), coz in defender vs defender matches is already hard enough to get winners... :fear:
