Post Match Interview- It was a bad match that I really couldn’t control my nerves! I’m so disappointed in how I played especially with the results that I had in the lead up to the French Open. I have to congrats Caroline she played the perfect match to make me get more and more nervous as the match went on. But O well it’s always next year seeing that I’m only 15! But now I go home for a week and half to focus on my first appearance at Wimbledon which suits my game much more then Clay.

Ranking goes up from 11 to 9

Post Match Interview-

Reporter- How does it feel to win your first Grand Slam Singles Title at the biggest stage of all at Wimbledon and also win it on your first appearance?

Sammie- Well first I would like to congratulate Serena Williams on another great tournament. It really exciting but it still feels like a dream right now!

Reporter- Well it’s not a dream it’s very real. With this win at Wimbledon you have became the youngest players to win a grand slam at the tender age of 15 breaking the previous recorded held by Martina Hingis. How does that feel?

Sammie: It feels awesome to be mention in the same sentence as Martina Hingis. And also feels good to hold that record.

Reporter- You dominated this tourney only losing 7 games in 7 matches and handing out a lot of 6-0 set to your opponents. You were in some type of zone for every match and had a very stung mindset this fortnight. It seems like Grass suits your game the most is that true?
Sammie- Yes I was very much in a zone and I was focus on just having a good Grand Slam because I was kind of disappointed in the way I played when I lost at the French Open. Yes I believe Grass is my best surface because it allows me to use my strengths of power and angles to move my opponents around.

Reporter: Was it your goal to win this grand slam?

Sammie: I would be lying if I said it was. I mostly just wanted to at least get to the quarter-finals to improve on my season.

Reporter: Well you did so much more than just making the quarter-finals. As you told us before you never pay attention to the rankings you let your coach deal with that. But I would like to tell you that with this win you have moved to number 4 in the world right behind Serena Williams, Agnieszka Radwanska and Venus Williams. How does that feel?

Sammie: Yeah I really never pay attention to the rankings until after a tournament. But I’m ranked number #4 right behind them???

Reporter: Yes you are!

Sammie: I’m loss for words all I can say is WOW!!!

*Reporter and the crowds laughs*

Reporter: Let’s give another round of applause to the 2010 Wimbledon Champion!!

Ranking goes up from 10 to 4.
