What is "anisotropic level" and where to find it?

Manu,

great courts. I have very old NVidia GT 6600, but I still get 60 fps on high details. Thank you very much :applause:

New Patch : allow to play with Sound FX turned off (download link in 1st post of this topic).

Thanks for all the reports & congratulations...

Mr.Schmith, maybe it's a problem with your 3D card ; what model is it ?

Richou & kyuuji, try the newly added download link to toogame.free.fr .

X-Ter, read 1st post & follow the instructions.

btaylor,
- turn on the "Advanced Options" in the "Misc Options" menu
- go to "Video" menu, then click on "Advanced Options"
- you can change the "Anisotropy Level" there ; when high, it makes texture seen from the side a lot sharper & accurate (the court texture is usually seen from the side)

Wonderful Manutoo.

Video Card: Nvidia 8500GT
OS : Windows 7
Player Detail: High
Level Detail: High
Resolution: 1024x768 (I dont need higher resolution than this)
Shadow: Detail
Anisotropic Level: 4
FSAA: 4

Comments for the 3D Court:
1. There seems to have camera jerkiness after rallies. This caused dizziness in my case( Well maybe just me and my eyes). Even if I dont press any key on controller or keyboard, it always has that jerkiness. Please make the transition of camera after rallies smoother.
2.Sometimes the transition of camera is its quite abrupt.
3. During rallies, I like the steadyness/smoothness of the camera movement. Could be subject to improvement if there are any.
4. FPS is 60. It never gets lower than 59 during rallies but most of the time its 60, except when I am on Menus that for some reason it drop to 55 below. This is no big deal, what important is during actual play. For this kind of card, this is great.
5. I like the animation of audience/lineman etc. Not sure though if there new animation with the players itself(maybe same as 2009).
6. Graphics is very nice, crisp and clear.
7. I love the feeling during low camera angle. Its as if I am hitting the ball with my own hand.

Would it be possible to add a diagonal camera angle? From the point of view either from the bottom left and/or bottom right corners of the court?
And maybe add a feature to allow us to save camera angles for quick access rather than having to use the sliders all the time.

Hi Manu

To be able to change the character outfits and strokes we have to purchase this new version and it will be upgraded for free later on?
If so, which do we pay...$24.95 or $10.00?

Hello btaylor,
This is what Manutoo says earlier:

"So my idea is that TE2009 Keys will work with TE2011, giving access to everything, except the 3D courts. If you want to have them, you'll have to upgrade for USD10/EUR7.5 . If you don't, you'll still be able to play using the legacy 2D courts of TE2009."

I think we registered users should only have to upgrade for $10.00 if my understanding is correct. I am not sure if this is his final thought.

solarisaint1, I'll do a try of a 3rd Person Camera mode.
>> Have you already render that stadium
not sure what u mean here ?

jesp8000,
1. What camera settings do u have ? does it happen online/offline/both, during warm-up/match/both ?
5. There's no new player anim

Algo, damn I have the buzz as well, not sure what's going on there & I can't do much about it...

FilipeMB, Mac OSX version will likely come about 1 week after final release of the Windows version

kyuuji, u're not forced to play with the subjective camera... ;) Actually, it's kinda experimental, I already spent a couple hours trying to reduce the seasick effect, but it's still a bit there... And it's sure u can't control ur positioning well in this mode

Brad1981, what do u want to do with a diagonal camera ..?

btaylor, jesp8000 is right, it'll be $10 to upgrade to the 3D court. But it's not working now, this is just a Beta to test the framerate, to be sure a maximum of people will be able to enjoy the 3D stuff... So for now, please patient a couple more weeks.... ;)

Hey Manu
I noticed that in your Beta 1 video that your anims were using the newer, more updated forehands and backhands...
Is there a way for us to use them with the beta also, or do we have to wait until after everything is finalized?

Add natural sunlight to a 3d model or render the parts of a 3 model

Im trying to figure out, when you say, i don't understand what you mean, are you really not understanding me or is it just plain old covert hostility :fear:
