Dear developer(s),
I would like following features in a possible update, which are

  • a possibility to set a manual delay on training mode to practise offline at online conditions,
  • an option to customize gesticulations ingame and lastly
  • a training mode to practise only services.
I think these features (except 2nd item) would help especially new players to practise their gameplay, particularly for online gaming / online tour.

I would be delighted to a constructive discussion.

Tristan von Blomberg,
if you don't release left/right before hitting the ball, then the aiming works same offline & online.

But generally it's an other feeling to play with delay ... but if you would have too much additional work forget it. It's the best game ever programmed. :D

an in-game automatic update system, as most games have.
Tour Mod.

Tour issues by PM or Discord
If you don't send me a PM or DM, you might see your chances reduced. Inform me about anything that might have gone on with your matches BEFORE deadlines, otherwise, decisions won't be changed.

Smash are too slow in the game.. it's difficult to win the point with it, and it's easy for the opponent to return the ball... in the reality it's a difficult shot, but if you do it in the right way with a lot ot power the points is yours (you can lose it only missing it).

i usually smash with angle so they dont have any chance to get to it. you smash with topspin button if you want angle....

I still think flash messages between points that for example shows the % 1st serves of the 2 players, or the amount of winners would make the game experience a lot more interesting. I love the game and I think that to implement it would increase the fun of the game experience. Maybe an option to disable it, if the game player does not like it. Just an idea :)

Great game.

I was wondering if some common things in tennis such as top spin forehand and backhand volleys as well as stretched shots could be implemented into the game? I think it's pretty difficult, but I still gotta ask.

Also, if there was a challenge system this game would be on top of the rest because of its extreme realism.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,
The challenge system was introduced in real life due to human error  This is a computer game, and although it would add a bit of realism we don't want this game to become a farce  I had a tennis game where the appeal system was in place - It was fun at first and then become very boring as the right calls weren't made just so you'd appeal :annoyed: And when yours or the computers challenges ran out, the game become daft :fear:

I would love to see a 2nd Serve Ratings. In other words just like serve but have 1st Serve Ratings and then add an additional 2nd Serve Rating. I think it would replicate the realism of the sport. Because some guys have a weak 2nd Serve that gets attacked and when playing an opponent with a weak 2nd serve you could attack. Someone with a strong 2nd Serve would be the opposite and more difficult to break and attack. Have it just like 1st serve ratings because some guys on a 2nd serve might be in the 70-80 mph range and serving it right down the middle because of lack of precision to hit corners (also increasing the chances of Double Faults) due to a weak 2nd Serve.

I also saw this posted before have topspin ratings for FH and BH independent of one another. Some players like Djokovic and Nadal have loopy topspin FH's but really Flat BH's.

Manu, can you make an option to allow both human and CPU players to have unlimited acceleration shots without getting tired? To have it separate from the Stamina bar. Just like an on/off button for unlimited accelerations. Maybe in the .ini. And of course just for offline play. Because in real life, players nowadays are able to hit powerful shots throughout a point without getting tired and losing pace. For instance, last year's AO final.

And maybe have a separate setting just for aiming accuracy/aiming sensitivity. For example, a more difficult setting = harder to aim your shot, and more of a chance of it going out.

1. backhand smash is too powerful

2. it should be harder to hit angled strokes for those with low topspin

3a. there should be a return ability, higher return ability --> return earlier and/or return with more angle and/or return faster (the thing is, its impossible to return angled while taking it early, cause we dont have time to aim to the sides, so the return ability should make aiming to the sides faster if you know what i mean?)

3b. too difficult to pass good net players (e.g. myself). implementing 3a would solve this dilemma.

4. spectator mode and/or 2 vs 2 (4 players) is a must to get this game to another level --> will sell more (it feels like we're stuck in a loop, with te2013, there should be something new and exciting!)
