I think it is possible if you give the Spanish umpire your voice :)

@Everyone :
Beta 3 is out, there :

... ;)

@Brad1981 :
>> super fast gameplay
when u got it, did the sounds changed ?
Are u sure it's not coz u were tired that it seemed faster..?

>> Most computer errors involve hitting a cross-court shot
Yup, this is the intended behavior.

>>color shade of the ball
In TE2006 the ball was in 2D, so not lit. Now it's in 3D, so it's lit by the sun. You can guess the sun direction from the players' shadows.

On my screen, I feel it's about the right lightness when back from sun, but I have a LCD and it's kinda bright.
You can add these lines, under [3dEngine], to change the ambient light to a lighter one :
AmbiantR = 192
AmbiantG = 192
AmbiantB = 192
(Values are in the [0; 255] range)

@CC :
>> Isn't that insane?
I'd almost say it's Incredible..! ;)

Actually, if u do a normal strike on volley ( = b1), it's like pushing the ball, not really hitting them, so the ball isn't fast and it's normal ur opponent may be able to reach it, even if it's far...

>> The connectivity is much more reliable and stable now
Thanks to report that, I'm glad to know it's working well... :)

>> Chat after match ended
I think I got the bug, but let me know if it's still there...

>> Screen refresh on Win98
I checked, and it should refresh, at least, the game tries to do it... :)
Maybe it's an Win98 limitation...

@Santiago92 :
>> "Can't reach the central..."
It's a Web problem. Opening ur Internet browser on www.ManaGames.com, with TE2009 opened, may help to fix it...

>> Jump Anim
yup, it'd be too much work... :? (at least for now)

>> umpire announcements in spanish
If u have a good microphone, u can do them even if u have a bad voice..! ;)
I'll add many filters, echo & metallic, so after that, ur voice should be ok.
But u need to have good recording conditions, ie : no background noise, clear sound (that's why u need a decent microphone, even if it's not a top notch one), & everything at 44khz 16bits.
And you should speak a bit slowly, with a bit deep voice, and a big pause between each announce.

@bbug :
>> CPU double fault
I think I saw the CPU with very low service skills to double fault a couple of times.
But it surely almost never happens in a general way.
I may tune this later...

@R.Gasquet :
>>Are the aiming and danger zone supposed to disappear?
Yes, they can be on only in "Free Mode".
They give a too big help to be used in Fair & Tourney modes...
Hopefully, after a few hours of practice, u should be able to position urself correctly without any help... :)

@ahmedcoolio :
>> drop shot literally flies out of the court
If the incoming ball speed is too high to be controlled, then it's what what will happen. In TE2006, it was way too easy to hit killing drop shot at the net...
It'll be the same if u do lobs on return while standing near the baseline, if the serve is fast enough...

No. Something seemed off. It just happened with Beta 3. It seemed fine, then I went in and changed some of the character sheet settings for my player, and gameplay seemed to be speeded up a bit more like ping-pong. It's hard to describe. The ball seems to dip faster. It usually goes back to normal after a while (like later in the day when I play again), but I don't know what triggers it. Could you just double check that changing different Character Settings doesn't modify the affect of the ball bounce or ball dip? I only noticed this really in the last 2 updates.

>> Most computer errors involve hitting a cross-court shot
Yup, this is the intended behavior.
But with CPU consistency at 100%, it still seems to happen more than it should at that percentage.

You can add these lines, under [3dEngine], to change the ambient light to a lighter one :
AmbiantR = 192
AmbiantG = 192
AmbiantB = 192
(Values are in the [0; 255] range)
I'll try this tomorrow. But it's weird, because when I switch sides currently, the CPU player brightness is not affected. Just my player is affected, along with the ball.
