Hello, in the german version (choosing next tournament) the surface is always called "Sand" (Clay). The backround color is right, but the name is wrong.

I just checked and it's working normally. Did you copy the Modding SDK into your Mods folder ? If so, you should delete all the files that you have not modified, especially the Menu folder.

If not, then send me a Bug Report, maybe it'll have some hint. (HowTo => topic5-31732.php )
