So there's this freezing bug that's been pissing me off a bit lately, happened every single day.

So right after the match is over, I give someone his deserved reputation and right after that I click "Ok" to return to main menu. The moment I click on "Ok" the game freezes and never comes back. I have to ctrl alt delete and close TE proccess everytime.

I have the impression that this happens only when my opponent disconects before I try to give him reputation and click Ok.He probably cannot receive my reputation because he disconnected before I clicked "Ok".

No it does not. As soon as I click Ok, game is frozen. It appears that most of the time this happens is when my opponent already left before I gave him reputation and I got the "connection lost " message.

If you wait 1 minute, the game is still frozen ?

It never comes back, last time I waited 2-3 mins so I had to ctrl alt delete and close TE process


LE: Today I played against a player who for some reason had disconnected during the match, he left the game lobby first, I got the "connection lost" message and when I clicked "Ok" game froze again.And this time I didnt give him any reputation.
So apparently this bug doesnt occur only when you give someone reputation. And to be honest, game never froze when I left match lobby before my opponent, in other words: If i try to be quick and leave match lobby before my opponent does, game doesnt get frozen. And that might mean that my opponent's game might get frozen because he will get the "connection lost" message, I dont know.

BTW, whats the deal with people reconnecting to my game after I banned them ? There was this guy today that was around 800 elo and I banned him from joining my game and he still managed to join 3-4 more times,banned him everytime.I thought the button was called "Ban this player for this session". And this isnt the first time this happens

Ok, then it's not about reputation.
Did you notice if it hangs only when you host or only when you join someone ?

Ban should still work ; maybe that guy d/c & reconnected to get a new IP. Or it could be related to Ipv6 issue, as the ban is done only for Ipv4.

Thing is I host the game everytime. So the bug could occur only when you're the host.

Yup, it could be linked to closing of server info.
Could you send me your System.log next time you get a freeze ?

Ok the game crashed when I clicked "Ok" today, here's your file:

Ok, so it's confirmed, it's on Server info closing (if you just clicked on ok before the hanging).
Do you remember your opponent name & score before this last hang ? I'll try to check the exact request that was made to managames.com and see if I can find something from it.

PS: I just did a very little change in the server handling, but I doubt it will fix the hanging.

So the game froze today.

Gave him rep, and instantly froze when i clicked 'Ok'

Ok, I looked more in details and still couldn't figure out what's going on nor could reproduce it on my PC...
I slightly changed the way the server is contacted and added a bunch of debug info so it may help to locate where exactly it's hanging.

In a general way, when your in that case ( = clicking on OK after your opponent disconnected), how often does it freeze ? Every time ? 50% of times ? 10% ?

Now freezing between the games In chat as well, this game is going down Two times, when I wanted to join someone, It says Connecting.. and then freezes, so had to quit the game, ctrl+alt+del..

EDIT: Now after match, when I clik OK, freezes, so I have to close the game, weird, really weird!!
