R2 ffzzpp def. MarkChan 6/1, 7/6(4)
He is really strong and uses a unique service motion and forehand motion, making me hard to read his serve and attacks. And he thus won comfortably the 1st set.
Second set after many deuces I finally held serve in the 1st game and even took advantage of his DF to break and held to go 3-0. My dropshots were less embarrassing and I covered the net better, hitting quite a lot of smash winners. But I got a little bit tight and was broken back after many deuces at 4-2. Then some unlucky green light ROS out when I led 5-4* 30-15*... In tiebreaker he started to serve bombs again and won many easy pts. Couldn't do much therefore. Gl in the rest of the tournament. I expect to see him make top10 easily if he has more time to play.
