Hi Jono ! Sorry, I learned first how to take computer screens so I could show you better my suggestions.....I see that you bended Djokovic's body in the servewaiting as I suggested; the problem now is that all his body (not only the bust) is leaning too much in front like he's about to fall down
Image

Use the "com" button (you know, the button that allows you to bend his knees or to extend them) to move the body a little bit on the left of the picture screen I uploaded

Also in the servewaiting try to cut some frames in the ball toss so to make it a little bit faster...it's too slow for Djokovic; just try to imagine him tossing the ball 30 times as he does sometimes...it will take too much in your animation :)

Other thing is how you bended his body in the serve motion
Image

It's too extreme and unnatural; here as well (and in general for all the serve motion), use the "com" button to move the body on the left...

Thanks Lucian for the advice.. and also megyaem. This animation is so frustrating because as soon as I fix the back bend and make it more realistic, then the animation doesn't look 'Djokovic' enough lol:) But I will try find a balance. I wanted to ask you Lucian, what is the 'com' button? Where is it? Also, i wanted to know how or if it is possible to rotate the entire biped's direction (I feel he needs to face the court more) without disrupting every part of the body (Because if I just select the entire body and rotate it, it messes up the arms and legs). This would reeeeally help, and I can then fix and release the serve finally...

I understand..I had the same problem with Murray's Serve

This is the com button:

Just press W and E and you'll understand what is about :)

By the way Jono, could you try to make your forehand volley work better ingame, maybe trying to put the "sweet spot"..It's perfect, just that is not practical ingame..you easily miss the balls because of it...I think it's a great animation, better than my forehand volley I made these days

BTW, I finished the draft for the volley animations...it's really difficult to make them look good in every situation (low balls, high balls, balls near to the body, balls far away from the body)
I made 2 versions of backhand volley and one of forehand volley

First version
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tjzli5-eL8U
I think it's better for the balls that are coming into the body, anyhow the balls close to the player

Second version
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OSOiUZQ6yc
This one for me it looks better ingame IMO

we can't see the videos Lucian! It says the "video is private". If they are done it would be good if you also put the links :)

EDIT: I can see it now on my iphone! It looks really good! :)

Btw Lucian, can you make reaction animations of Federer it would be great! I mean you know, his neutral reactions even when he wins points (walking back to the ballboy for towel) or even his fist pump. And it would be nice also to have a victory animation where the player who wins fist pumps and walks slowly to the net but looking at his right like his team was in the crowd if you know what I mean. what do you think? (these could really help us for future updates of the game as we will be able to assign the anims to the forehands and players will look more realistic with their own reaction anims :) )

Show me some videos if you find to see what is about

The .max file of my second version of backhand volley got corrupted so I coudn't adjust the sweet spot (I still have the .anim file)

Anyway, the first version was better in the sense that looks better with different kind of situations...I made a new video, volleys together with the smash animation where I just changed a couple of things from Manutoo max file..I think it looks better now

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xP4HWMwo ... e=youtu.be

all the sweet spots are adjusted

1) Look here for example, Federer's reaction at 0:20:34 where he just goes back to the ballboy. Many players don't always celebrate their points!

2) For the victory I am talking about that type at 7:48 , showing the fist and going to the net

For the volley/smash anims, they look really great :) When are you going to release them?

Neeky I suggest you make a version of Tsonga's forehand with a little jump as Tsonga almost always jumps a little for his fh

Can these animations be used in World Tour? If so, how? I can put them in game for individual players but since you can only select 1 player in WT is there way to edit players before you start WT?
