Lucian I think you can still improve Federer's bh, it is still a little mecanical (and maybe ajust a little the finish, you can take Manutoo's fed bh as example for the finish), and make it more a "relaxed" stroke (as in real life). You can also try to make the feets a little closer during the stroke

Hi Sam..I understand if you find like that..I don't mind :) There are different Federer's backhands out there and was difficult to me to choose one of them..At the end I choosed this one in particular:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vhne6BWVfH4
the one who starts at 0:40

Honestly, for me it one of the best executed animations I've done so far...as you can see, the feets are distant one from each other more or less like in the video (don't know if you can see that), the body rotation is the same, the racquet motion is executed as best as I could do..the difference is that I bended the knees a little bit more, as much as I thought it would be ok for both low balls and high balls. The only thing that I can improve is the head movement and maybe to smooth a little more the left foot motion. That's all, for the rest, sorry I don't find mechanical...not at all

Anyway, keep coming with suggestions..you know, sometimes I just disagree...I know you'll understand :)

Good improvement :) I saw your Ferrer's forehand on your channel..That one is really good..the best one

If at the beginning your strokes were a little bit too slow, now I think they're too fast (especially the backhand) :) Personally (and that's just me), I try to do the strokes a little bit slower (not much) than the real life motions
The slice backhand..it doesn't look bad at the beginning but ingame it's a very weird stroke IMO

Are you saying that that the links I provided don't work ? Others have the same problem ?

For me it works...don't know which can be the problem

Thanks for the coments about ferrers FH...appreciated! :applause: and for the rest,i know what you saying bout the speed of the strokes...but i prefer it that way,i dont know...i feel good with this speed...as you tell previously, and i agreed with you is that doesnt matter how the anim looks in the caracter sheet...only matter how looks IN GAME!...and ill improved the bh-slice...i look at waws slice and doesnt look like the one i did... :blackeye: and the one really hard to do was the forehand  it makes me sweat alot to do the termination of the racket hand.
PS: im making a Federers backhand based on your anim(hope you dont mind :D :jap: )...i think is really beauty...but i dont know about the footwork at the end of the stroke(as SamModder say)... maybe i look at the video you posted before to see if theres some other way to finished?. :D

Jono4Sure wrote:Great animations as usual Lucian, well well done:) I think I have aged 10 years fixing and re-working this Djokovic Serve animation  , and here is Version 3. You will notice I adjusted as best I could everything you guys suggested. He now uses much more body in the shot, the back bend is smoother, the awkward finish position is gone, the jump has been re-timed and the service waiting improved. The video lags slightly, so the animation doesn't look as smooth in the video as it does in the game, but I'm interested to hear what you guys think. Will upload if all is well:)

well..i dont know much about djoko serve...but ..i see that the bend it looks like is going to fall down on his back... and the right leg look stiff..had to be move to adjustement to the other leg before the jumping (see pic for those things im saying)... hope you know what im saying...but is my point of wiew. :D

Hi Jono ! Sorry, I learned first how to take computer screens so I could show you better my suggestions.....I see that you bended Djokovic's body in the servewaiting as I suggested; the problem now is that all his body (not only the bust) is leaning too much in front like he's about to fall down
Image

Use the "com" button (you know, the button that allows you to bend his knees or to extend them) to move the body a little bit on the left of the picture screen I uploaded

Also in the servewaiting try to cut some frames in the ball toss so to make it a little bit faster...it's too slow for Djokovic; just try to imagine him tossing the ball 30 times as he does sometimes...it will take too much in your animation :)

Other thing is how you bended his body in the serve motion
Image

It's too extreme and unnatural; here as well (and in general for all the serve motion), use the "com" button to move the body on the left...
