I am trying to make something that reminds Janowicz forehand, bo so far, everything is shaking just like in that video:

hahah, not even gonna watch it that poster behind him is the name of the tournament? or the sponsor?
I always start for the upperbody, then the hip, foots and all.. maybe that could give you an idea

I guess it's the sponsor as it has radio in it, this serve reminds me a lot of Bartoli movements before serving (yaiks, she's 5-1 against Flipkens O,o).

I started too with upper but gosh, I am doing everything too slow, not fluent etc.

how many frames you are using? maybe 50 will help you, dont forget bout videos, alot of them and in the three position, front, back and side
I dont know but looks like you could become in a master-piece maker, like Lucian.

Well, the first one went to 70 But it was month and half ago.
Today I've checked first those anims made by Manu, and I actually spotted that the first phase of a stroke ends around 8-10 frame, so now I know what actually it have to be much faster. Plus I have a problem with coming back to the first position I also wonder when the racket should touch the sweet spot.
With vids it would be extremly hard, as my internet has great download speed, but upload is just pain in the ass '

Well, I doubt in becoming even 10% of Lucian as my perception/geometry skills are extremly low I always sucked in Art at school, same with more advance maths, so I would be satisfied if ever manage to create something that looks like a forehand of a healthy person
I think that instead of Janowicz for the first try, I should use my forehand cause it's much easier

I am dreaming about having forehands like that in game (or Hewitt jumb backhand )

ahh ok, now is more clear, thats depends of your anim, my anims got the contact between 30 and 35 , but thats not a fact for every animation, or anim-maker.

Believe it for not I'm a bad artist too It's not about art here but more about:
- knowing how use well the few functions of 3ds max 8 you need
- selecting the "appropriate" real strike to copy
- selecting more than one video with the same stroke to make adjusments; it''s not necessary to exactly replicate a certain stroke; it's a bad idea imo since it should be able to work well with different scenarios ingame (low or high balls, flat shots or top spins, etc). You can make as well your personal adjustments without taking a reference just for the sake of having a good looking movement.
- be patient, don't be satisfied easily with your work, modify and test it ingame over and over again until you got it right.
