I've added a new shot sound ( example : Shanghai ) , but i couldn't found and select it in the selector " Shot Sounds " in Audio , ingame . How can you add a new shot sound , and make it appear and can be selected ingame ? :(

I am facing some difficulties with sound.ini and Elias multi-grunts. Any idea how to solve it?

Hey,you should add your sound in sound.ini and lang_english.txt.After that,open audio.menu in Menu folder and scroll down when you see the shot sound selector,you must see this:

Take notice on those red number,11 is the number of your shotsounds(but only adding shot sound so that means you must have 12 shot sounds in sound.ini)

I have deleted the file El Croato said should be deleted, I have added the lines to lang_english, I am using sound.ini he has provided, just changed the grunts, and now the order of grunts is not correct, and when u are changing them - game crashes.

Hello manutoo!

Remember my list with some proposals about modifying some sound samples in TE? Well, I forgot to include a suggestion about the "let, second serve" call by the chair umpire. I have noticed the umpire announces the second serve after a player hits his first service, touches the band of the net and sees his ball go out. Unless I'm mistaken, I think that in real life, the umpire only makes that call in case the player would hit a second serve which would touch the band of the net and land in the cross-court serving box; in other words, a good second serve which touches the band of the net. Do you think it would be possible to make such a change?

A very last thing, but I'm not sure it will be to your 'liking' as you said you were slowly getting fed up with your tennis game haha, but who dares wins, right? :D

First, could you please watch the following YouTube video and carefully listen at 6:24?

My question is: do you have the motivation to create kind of empty entries so that such samples could be implemented into the game?

2- I'll see if I can add a little system where the sound played is 1st vetted by the Menu system, so Modders could change the sound n° before its played

Wondering how you plan to add this Manutoo, although i think it could be nice indeed for realism.
The game announce, should be tied to the character used, but then also to the umpire selected, to keep the same umpire voice, so that renders it a bit more
complex as this is two conditions. A "simple" (?) solution, could be maybe to cycle characters grunts sounds only from A to X (24 samples), and then making
grunt_male**Y.wav and grunt_male**Z.wav, if present, respectively the English/French umpire announce for "Game *playername*". Or you could simply
add a new sound entry ("AnnCharGame" ?) tied to a character for these (like the grunts), in wich we could cycle thru different umpire announces (usual language order), it's probably a cleaner solution.

About the extended feature "Cilic leads two games to one", there i guess it's more complex as you would have to provide sound entries linked to the current
set scoreline.

But i have to say it would definitely render nicely ingame, regarding ElCroato video, it's definitely bringing good value to the atmosphere.
