OK, some words about the matches:
I played Ma(st)er a couple of times before and always won easily. This was definitely the best match we've played and harder than the previous ones, I was down 0-2 in the first set and got broken once in the 2nd set and had to work hard to win some games. So I hope to play another nice match with him again.
The A-Rad match:
As usually it was a great match like it's always been against him. There was no such thing as an easy game, we had to fight hard to win every point and I think only one game was won 40-0. The third set was the toughest and there was only one break. The end was a complete drama, I served at 5-4 and was up 40-0, but he didn't give up and took it to deuce. I was quite relaxed but when I blew 40-0 lead I got very nervous and my hands started shivering, so he had at least 2 break points to stay in the match, luckily I managed to save them and won the match on my 6th matchpoint.
But after it was over, we went to the chat and he accused me of cheating and using forbidden shots! I always tried to play fairly so it shocked me a bit. I am allegedly a cheater because I was using the lob that you do with fire 1.
I've seen many players using this lob and I am sometimes using it myself and so far noone complained. I think it's a good way to make it harder for these players who use the serve & volley tactics, because this lob can't be returned as easily as the other types of lob. He also said that this shot is not in the official TE Manual (which is the reason it's forbidden), but it's actually listed there, although not as a lob.
b1 + down = top spin
He also claimed that I broke him with this lob in the 3rd set, which was not true, because I did the lob on return of his serve and he returned it. However, I was already at the net and ended the point with a volley at 15-40.
So I wonder if you guys who still read this post consider this shot forbidden and cheaty? Just wanna know other people's opinions so that I can reconsider using it in the future so that I am not called a cheater anymore.
