Good afternoon,

I have played TEM2 for hundreds of hours now (thanks for the great game!) and I recently came across a frustrating bug. I started a new Junior Career several days ago and was in the process of filling out my nine member "team". I recruited 2 young pro players that looked like they had good, untapped potential (side note: I boosted my coach "potential detection" rating to 4 stars at the start). After recruiting them I ran a few more turns, saved the game, and went to bed. The next day I started the game again and that good, untapped potential in the 2 new pro players had disappeared. They had somehow become completely average players with mediocre potential and it was very unlikely that I would be able to coach them to successfully attain their goals. My seven other "junior" recruits did not seem to change...it was only the 2 pros. I haven't encountered this before and I don't know if it is reproducible. I'm thinking that it may somehow have been caused by the last patch, because I think Steam installed it during this timeframe. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

Hello,

could you send me a Bug Report from the Character Sheet of one of the 2 pro players ? (HowTo => topic19-4589.php )

I'll check if I can see or not how their potentials got mixed up.

Note : updating the game shouldn't change your player potentials, so I guess it's just about restarting the game.

Pardon, I already started a new game and I didn't keep any of the old save-games. I will let you know if I encounter the issue again.

OK, in my new play-through the same issue has re-occurred and I was diligent about making saves and screenshots this time. I sent you a bug report as per your request. It seems that this is only happening with pro recruits--not amateur recruits. With these pro recruits, I usually sign them and then the next week most of their good potential is gone. Please let me know what you find.

I got your Bug Report and thanks to it I was able to locate the bug : the players existing in the base and getting a better best rank in the fictional years were losing it on game reload.

It's fixed in today's build ; your player should get back her correct potentials !

BTW, if you have the time & mood, please leave a positive review on TEM2 Steam Store page, that'd be helpful for the game and encouraging for me !
