Hi,

After trying in Steam discussions, posting here in hoping to get some help in regards to how to change and experiment with created player's stats in World Tour/Career. For example, I wanted to change the TopSpin stat to see how it works during Wimbledon.

I have XKT and Scoreboards by Stef mods installed and am playing on XKT profile.

This link topic60-35939.php didn't help as the created player doesn't exist in Players.ATP.ini file.
This link https://www.managames.com/tennis/doc/HowToMod.html seems to be for TE13 so might not be 100% applicable to TE4. I didn't find info there on how to change stats of manually created player in WT. Also, in my Tour.ini there is only MaxTournament line, but no MaxPlayer, should I freely add it below? As I wanted to increase max number of players in World Tour - I only have up to 850ish place and it bothers me that they are tied (multiple players with same points have the same place e.g. 849th with 0 points)

This link topic29-33540.php shows how to download modding SDK zip but I failed to see how can I change the stats of created player after it.

TL;DR
1. I want to change stats of created player in World Tour;
2. I want to increase number of players in World Tour
3. (low priority) I'd like multiple players with same number of points to have different ranks as in real-life (e.g. 850th - 0 points, 851st - 0 points, 852nd - 0 points)

also, I got Matthew Ebden and Max Purcell (Australian players) back to back in Wimbledon tournament in my World Tour. I noticed they were impossible to play against and that they have very high set of skills.
They are both Australian with high preference towards doubles, not singles. I visited the Players.ATP.Ini file to see what's going on and I saw their RankPerYear was kind of reflecting their Double rank from ATP Website, and not singles. I also noticed some other high ranked Doubles players to have "SwitchToDoubles" line below "SingleDouble" preference line, but these guys don't. Is it possible that this was not working as intended and that Ebden and Purcell (and who knows who else) are now playing as a Top 5 singles players because of the mistake in their doubles rankings?

Hello,

1) You cannot directly change your created player skills, but you can increase the Training efficiency to train him faster => topic1-472.php

2) Look for MaxPlayers in Players.ini . Changing it will not add players ; you have to manually add them to your Players.ini .
If you want to add just a few players, read "Adding players to the base without invalidating your saved games" here => topic11-31376.php

3) It's not possible : if they played the same number of tournaments, they actually share the ranking.

4) It's normal : double specialists have double rankings for their RankPerYear. Check their DoubleSpirit is high (80+%) and their style is Varied or Volleyer.
