Hi, I'm new to the game and did not want to create new topic as it somehow related to this one, so maybe you can help with some answers:

1. So in general SDK player db can be used in custom mod which would override XKT db? Does it contain mainly all the players or there is some advantage of usage Players.*.ini from XKT still? What else can be replaced without breaking game in such manner? Also the latest is v4 or the one in root folder of Ini?
2. How simulation works? I've played most of career with simulation matches with having mine player and opponent set to pro10 level(read it somewhere here that this is optimal), and having my player higher stats all around better then Federer or Djokovic still loosing most of finals to them. Does play style can affect it? For example my player is 90s everywhere and play style is All-rounder.
3. Does game only rely on provided RankPerYear for player development or there is some randomness included? I would like to have different kind of simulations, and probably different players in top while simulating different careers, if there is some option to adjust it somehow would be great :) Maybe there is some kind of tutorial to such configuration if that is possible in general?
4. Does career shine much better with playing TE4 + TEM2? Can it be used together with mods same way as TE4 and is the difference only in more options for you as manager or also more options in simulation etc?

Also one potential future request if that would be possible to have stats history of players before game started, for example I've started in 2005, and would be great to see which tournaments players have won before IRL.

0) Your questions are varied and thus didn't match the other topic ; hopefully, you'll find your post here... :fear:

1) A bunch of players in XKT have their own outfits & animations. Maybe they changed some skills as well... :thinking:

3) In fictional years (from 2025 in the unmodded game and 2023 in XKT), the RankPerYear is randomly generated (if not already present in the player base). If you want random RankPerYear in the real years, you're going to need to redo the player base (which would be quite hard).

4) XKT works with the TEM2 Mode. You can try the demo to see what TEM2 brings => https://www.managames.com/tennismanager/ .

5) No, it'd be too much work

Thx for response, few more things to understand:

1) But technically I can replace some specific values of rank positions on player.ini and should be fine or some other changes would be needed to start game in 2025?
2) Regarding the simulation I was more about is there any parameters which influences AI vs AI match, as I think there are some strange results especially in GS tournaments when my player controlled by AI having much better stats often loses where likely it should not be as often.
3) Got it. So technically I can write some script which can randomize values in some way and replace them later in the file with different value :thinking:

1) You need almost 1000 active players in 2023 & 2024 to be able to start in 2025, so you have to put additional RankPerYear for a lot of players

2) You mean the 3D Match in CPU vs CPU ? Or the simulated matches ? Anyway, you have Surface Skills, Stress and Mental skills that play an important role ; check https://www.managames.com/tennismanager ... _Game.html if you want more details

Regarding this point, does the simulation engine work in the same way for simulated (non-watched) matches as it does for watched CPU vs CPU matches? Or are surprise results more common in simulated matches, with watched CPU vs CPU matches more likely to stay true to the players' current stats?

Yes, CPU VS CPU in 3D Match. So basically mental, surface skills, form should be also checked before checking match result. Anything exist what we can configure/mod in this area or that is coded in the engine?

you can change StressLowering & SurfaceLowering, under [WT_ScoreSimu], in your Tennis.ini (HowTo => topic19-32161.php ).
This will change for simulated & 3D matches.
