Hi, I had some questions about the Davis Cup (I use the tour.ini from xkt since I have its mod installed but I don't know where the original one from TE4 is.)

1. How does the Davis Cup format work? I went to Chile to play davis_2 from the qualifiers, but he doesn't appear in the first season. And in Davis there are 16 teams but only 8 participate in the world group, what happens with the other 8 teams? Also, in qualifiers, the first 8 teams from Davis_2 appear

2. Is there any way to add more draws beyond the main draw and the qualifying draw so that all countries can participate and thus have a World Group, Zone 1, Zone 2, and so on, not just the World Group and the qualifying group? Does anyone happen to have one that they could pass on to me, and if not, do you know how to create one?

3. Does anyone have a tour .ini file that includes the old Davis Cup format? (16 teams in the World Group, etc.), or knows how to edit it, I have the tour.ini from the XKT mod and I don't know where the original TE4 one is to see if it has the old format.

1) I guess the XKT Mod has 3 rounds of Country Cup instead of 4, and thus fewer teams participate, so put Chili in the 1st teams.

How can I add a 4th round in the world group and a 3rd in qualifiers? to edit the xkt tour .ini that I already have, Can I copy them from the original Emerson tour.ini cup from TE4? Or do I need to do something else to make it work?

and a question just out of curiosity , Is there any possibility that more qualifiers could be added in the future?

If I place for example a new round in a season, for example the 24th, in the tour.ini, I can put (tournament478), which would be the last enumeration of the tournaments, or I have to put it in order, for example change it to (tournament 34), which would be the one that corresponds and change down one by one the tournaments, for example the (tournament34) put (tournament35) and so on.

1) Just copy/paste a Country Cup round and change its week ; you can put it anywhere in the Tour.ini

2) You can try to add a 5th round, but it might crash ; I won't change anything about that.

I wished there was a way to properly do the Davis Cup even if it means not doing the zone format but adding more into the qualifying draws to be able to incorporate the rest of the countries & also having it overlap years (like it did in the 70s with some of the prelims).

Also is there any way to create the Junior Davis & Junior Billie Jean King Cups for the Juniors (Starting with 1985) & if so where can I integrate that as well into the ini?

Is there a way to make the qualifying rounds start on the first scheduled week instead of the second?

Also, how can we see which country has the choice of ground?

Apparently, you are forced to have the qualifying draw the same size of the main draw. Changes to the make the qualies bigger or smaller don't work.

Doubling the countries in [Davis_L2] should be the way to start the qualies at the same time as the main draw, but as the qualies draw size is locked to the main draw size, there's nothing to be done.
