lol sorry with all due respect but acceleration down the line is fine and short acceleration is almost too good, they don't need any buff or boost. The issue with clay relies in different things. Precision of shots does go down with each shot too. you can't add modifiers like that. Game is balanced and fine in all other surfaces so if you do what you're proposing you break the game for every other surface.

I don't know if this thread is still relevant, but I found a solution to shortening the rallies across all surfaces just by lowering the speed, reflexes and similar stats by 10-20% compared to all other stats. Now, I have a rally length of 4-6 on hard and indoor courts.

So, I did a few experiments with speed and reflexes lowered by 10% while keeping all the other stats same vs CPU at Incredible-5 difficulty and here are the results:

Hard Courts:
Short Rallies-20
Medium Rallies-10
Long Rallies-3

Clay Courts:
Short Rallies-15
Medium Rallies-12
Long Rallies-7

Grass Courts:
Short Rallies-24
Medium Rallies-7
Long Rallies-1

I was playing on XKT mod with Federer against Medvedev. These are very close to actual ATP values

it's the right thing to do if you're happy with the result.
In TE2013, people were usually using the [MtRun] parameters in their Tennis.ini to slow down the players :
