Hi, I started playing the game yesterday on PC, and was able to use the keyboard controls.

Now today, I'm connecting to my game remotely via steam link on iPad with an 8BitDo SN30 pro controller. I'm able to use the controller as a mouse to navigate the various menus, however in practice I try to move and I can't seem to move my player or get any of the buttons to work correctly.

I've tried disabling Steam Input, any other ideas? I realize this might be a tricky case where I'm using a controller not connected to the computer, but through Steam Link..

Hello,

if you use Steam Link, you're very likely Steam Input to be turned on.

If it uses the default gamepad Steam Input scheme, then go to Settings -> Controls -> Player 1, set the Controller 1, then bind any button and this should automatically select your controller if it has been detected by the game.

Yes, Steam Input is on, and I was able to use the controller when connected directly to the host computer.

It seems like I'm having a problem getting the game to recognize the controller when I'm connected via Steam Link with the controller connected via bluetooth to my iPad. My iPad is recognizing the controller as I can use it as the mouse in game, but when I try to bind a button on controller 1, it doesn't take any input from the controller. We're getting beyond my technical abilities haha.

Hum, could Steam Input simulate only a mouse with your controller ?

Could you send me a Bug Report from Settings -> Controls -> Player 1 with the Controller 1 selected ? (HowTo => topic5-31732.php )
