Sun, Night Session & Animation Quality

Hi, i want to ask when will the option to choose sun position and night matches be available and secondly, will there be much more improvement regarding animations, cause at the moment is not even close to reality?

Well, i think there needs to be a sliding animation when approaching a drop shot, also many varieties of every shot not just one, like running forehands (such as rafa's banana forehand), then when i come close to a high ball there is this totally weird animation with the arm stretching in the air like an alien. Then, the volleying animations are really poor and unrealistic, and the smash also. There should be like a smash moving backwards and many other scenarios. Also, maybe consider adding an option to run faster towards a drop shot like a sprint or something.

As for the movement animation that you refer to, i think it's definitely better tthan the current one, but still not realistic, the character runs hunched over like a grandpa :D

For me personally, animations improved a lot compared to 1 year ago. It's hard to describe but I feel they're not so 'smooth' as compared to TE2013 for example. Players feel stiff specially when they're not hitting the ball, Maybe with little jumps or short movements this could be solved?

Reaching high and low balls animations have improved a lot, as well as volley ones, and I see tweaks every once in a while so I fell we're getting there.
I do have to mention the fact that this (High and low balls) is a revolution in tennis games, we never saw this in any tennis game, nor AAA or AA or indie so it's unrealistic to expect a perfect result in such a short time, but like I sais, we're getting there!!!

Backrunning animation is very poor. Sometimes players turn their back on the net and run to catch the ball.

ok, you'd like high production value animation, which is mostly out of scope of me : I'm a solo indie there.

For the arm stretching too much on high, you can send me a Bug Report the next time you notice one and I'll check if it's working as expected or not. (HowTo => topic5-31732.php )

And yes, the hunched backs are one of the reasons I have to redo the animation set if I want to use the motion matching plugin.

I very recently noticed a backhand that looked jerky ; my guess is that the default impact point is either too much in front of the player, or not enough. So it's possible that fixing the animations that have a slightly wrong impact location would help with the overall smoothness. I hope to get to it at some point.

For the stiffness on the base pose, I'm not sure ; maybe a motion-captured animation would feel more lively, but it's the exact same anim as in TE2013, so I guess the new 3D player models looking less blocky & more realistic play a role in the perception there.

normally, the player will turn around when they start to run back when standing at the net, or at least do side-steps back when required.

and i think the muscle mass on some players even at the lowest setting, they are just too fat like medvedev for example. And i see you've added the key biscayne stadium, but will you make the new miami stadium with the new colors?
