I did that and now I just get a blank screen when opening the game......

How do you get back into the TE4 folder when you can't get into the game?

press the left or right shift key as soon as you see the game window appearing (ie: it must be active & selected), and keep it pressed.
Else, on Windows it's there : "C:/Users/[YourUserName]/AppData/LocalLow/Mana Games/Tennis Elbow 4/" .

search for that file in your Mods folder and edit it with a text editor (ie: Notepad on Windows, TextEdit on MacOs).

Thank you, switching it back fixed it. Not sure why it wouldn't open after making those changes.

you might have pasted something incorrectly, and the formula parser is easy to crash, which would cancel the menu loading...

Hi Manu.

Maybe Im repeating myself too much,but the slice continues to be a problem.

It is still very slow and has only a defensive use.You cant almost counterattack with it.

When using the slice,the opponent has all the time in the world to attack that ball.

Im not saying that the slice must be at 120 mph but it needs to have more speed that will add more penetration and depth to it.I think the slice speed before this last updates was correct.It wasnt a handicap.It was balanced.

I dont know If you want me to send a match that will show this issue.

what speed do you get on your slice ? (you can turn it on in Settings -> 3D Match)
And what speed you'd like to get ?
Is it with the Slice Mastery talent or not ?

2) Yes, talented slice. As someone above has said, it's too defensive based. For example, I wouldn't proactively choose to slice and approach the net anymore because the slice can't be used aggressively or to counter attack.

I really appreciate the work you do on the game and understand it's your creation, based on your vision. But, since Build 105 I enjoy the game much less

1) The drop shots are actually very bugged in the current version (another user sent me a Bug Report), they get very "lobby" most of the time, except when standing far behind the baseline. It's fixed for the next update, coming next week.

2) The talented slice in the past was unrealistically too fast ; maybe now sometimes it still gets too slow though, I'll try to get it around 95km/h when correctly hit with high strike skills.
In real life, the slice allows the player to rush the net because it's slow, not because it's fast. However, in TE4, it shouldn't be too slow because of the gameplay rules allowing more precision when having a lot of time to prepare our strike, so it's hard to balance...

2) Exactly, I think you've summed it nicely... Whilst in real life the slow slice gives you more time to approach, in TE it's been faster to stop the precision being too accurate. So, even though you technically have more time to approach the net now, it feels worthless because opponents can pass you much easier than before. Hopefully you can find more of a middle ground than there is now.

I update the Mac version yesterday. Sometimes, the TE4-Launcher doesn't see the new version for a while, likely because of caching issue.
You still cannot update today ?

Hi Manu.

In version 0.83 did you also add what you told me in other topics, ie an option to be able to load a player from the training club when playing a single tournament? And then all the extensions are lowercase too?

Also in another topic in my question you told me that I could ask you to update the Linux version a couple of times a year, and therefore before playing one already can you tell me if you have done this too? Otherwise I wait for you to release other versions or for more time to pass and then ask you if you update.
