Build 9 SubBuild 2018.6.25:

New Features :
- Draw : show your last result in the draws of the week and the draw shown before a tournament
- New Game : can choose a player from the base as your main player ; you can't give any talent to him, so if you want him to have specific talents, you can add them in the player base directly

Build 10 SubBuild 2018.7.13:

New Features :
- New Game : you can now choose your 1st court between Synthetic, Cement and Indoor Hard
- Retired player list : it is now possible to sort the players by their age
- Weekly news : added the age column for the player list

Changes :
- Junior : girls get better potentials younger
- Junior : traveling is a bit less tiring, to compensate for the lack of close tournaments
- Junior : training is a bit more efficient, especially in Club difficulty
- WTA : women retire now 1 year later in average (around 31)
- WTA : Sofia tournament doesn't accept the top 8 players anymore, to somewhat match the rule of the real tournament (none of the Master Final participants are accepted)

Bug Fixes :
- Retiring : good players starting very young were retiring too young (ie: before 30)

Real Time 3D Matches : (you need to activate the DevMode to reach them through the Training Club)
- Ball in Air physics tuned a bit
- Ball Bounce physics rehauled
- A few strikes tuned to test the ball physics rehaul :blackeye:
- Added the controls menu in the Character Sheet so you can define your controls from within the game
- HUD is messed up, it's normal
- The result is pretty nice but there's still a ton of work to do... :fear:

- CPU Player Evolution : the new strengths at the start of each year weren't calculated anymore since SubBuild 2018.7.13 ; you might need to start a new career to fix that, although maybe it'll be back to normal at the start of the next year of your current career

SubBuild 2018.7.21:

Real Time 3D Matches : (you need to activate the DevMode in Tennis.ini to reach them through the Training Club)
- Strike physics : 1st pass done ; all strikes behave more or less correctly in rallies (but maybe not when volleying)
- Strike physics : topspin overhaul mostly done ; now a 50% topspin skill is actually an average value, instead of being already the level of a clay specialist
- Aiming zone : now it shows where the ball has at least 50% chances to land (the 100% chance zone can get quite big, so it's not very useful to show it)
- Lowered net cord rate
- The overall result is somewhat playable, especially in warmup on a slow surface ; however, the goal right now is not to create TE4 gameplay, but to improve the realism for the CPU vs CPU matches for TEM2 (but I still didn't start to check CPU vs CPU behavior :P )
- Again, I'll try to write a mini-blog post soon to explain more in details what I'm doing :unsure: (EDIT: done => viewtopic.php?p=254032#p254032 )

Notes :
- Mac version updated

- Tuned the topspin strike depth
- Tuned a bit the net-cord bounce & rate

SubBuild 2018.8.5:

Real Time 3D Matches :
- I started to work on the CPU vs CPU matches ; the gameplay vs CPU is for testing the strikes only and might not have a correct difficulty balance (although it's playable and enjoyable, at least for me :blackeye: )
- Tuned serve speed so now the averages are much more realistic (80% power = Nadal ; 90% = Djoko at his best ?)
- Tuned running acceleration & deceleration so wrong stepping is more natural
- Tuned acceleration accuracy
- Diminished the height zone of the Shoulder Height acceleration, lowering its trigger rate
- Raised the blocked time after the strikes
- There are still major issues with the fault & winner rates, which lead to too short rallies, so this is still WIP ; I release it so you can test and give feedback if you have the mood..! :yes:

SubBuild 2018.8.7:

Bug Fixes :
- Junior : loading a game when just turned Pro on the Week 52 was leading to a crash
- Junior : turning Pro during the year could lead to a crash (as well as modding the player base in a way that would make some players not Junior anymore after reloading your saved games)

Real Time 3D Matches :
- AI : now the CPU aims more or less correctly
- AI : more tuning to balance Defense vs Attack vs Rally Length
- Strike : with a very low preparation time, the slice is now slower, and thus has a trajectory way above the net and doesn't end too often in the net anymore

Build 11 SubBuild 2018.8.19:

New Features :
- Registering : Game unlocks from the Register screen as soon as you copy your Key in the correct folder (it was supposed to work like this from the beginning, but I had forgotten to actually code it :oops: )

Real Time 3D Matches : (you need to activate the DevMode to reach them through the Training Club)
- More tuning, especially on the running acceleration
- the CPU is now aware of the chances of the ball to pass the net or not, and thus does less net faults
- Now the CPU decides what strikes to do a few instants before hitting the ball, instead of when hitting the ball ; this will allow to get more varied strike animations in the long run and right now it allows to select more smartly when to use the slice
- So now the CPU doesn't systemically slice on end of long runs
- I'll try to write a mini-blog post soon to explain all the inside changes it required (EDIT: done => viewtopic.php?p=254616#p254616 )
- Note : the winner & error rates need again some more tuning

- Reworked the service placement (press Left Shift + F9 to see where all 1st serves landed, and again to see the 2nd serves)
- Tuned a bit the net clearance so the grass matches look ok
- Tuned a bit the winner/error rates

Build 13 SubBuild 2018.9.4:

Real Time 3D Matches : (you need to activate the DevMode to reach them through the Training Club)
- CPU was miscalculating the chances for the ball to pass the net, leading to too much slicing on medium & fast surfaces
- CPU positioning himself better after a poorly hit strike
- CPU now plays more often on the weak side of his opponent (if any)
- CPU is now slightly confused when playing against a left-handed opponent
- Tuned the CPU reflexes to be more realistic (at Pro-10)
- Tuned the CPU distance from baseline
- Tuned all strike speeds when having 0% power, so they'll match a decent 14 years old Junior instead of a good 16 years old Junior
- Lowered a bit the rate of net clips
- Junior girls now are just a bit under the boys (ie: 0% for a girl is almost equal to 0% for a boy ; it works same for Pros, but Pros are usually significantly higher than 0% :blackeye: )
- Raised a bit the tiredness
- Every and each mental skill has now at least some little influence on the 3D matches
- Now having the Positioning Skill above (Speed + Tonicity) / 2 lowers the tiredness of striking the ball (and vice versa)
- Now having the Motivation Skill above (Speed + Tonicity) / 2 lowers a bit the energy level required to play without being tired (and vice versa)

Notes :
- Mac version updated (but the ball is now likely grey)

- Fixed wrong bounce when the ball had side spin (ie: on sliced serve) & twist spin (ie: on kicked serve & banana shot)
- Added Talent screen in the Training Club's Character Sheet
- All relevant talents have now some influence on the 3D matches (except Cold Blood which will require some special handling)

Notes :
- This is actually a big milestone ! Now, onto adding new stuff ! :dance:
