I remember seeing voja doing this drive volley similar to what federer usually does (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzHvXQhf95k), and would like to know how to do it, anyone knows?

Hello Dasp,
in my opinion it would be coincidental to hit such a drive volley like Roger Federer. I've never seen such strikes at least not directly in Tennis Elbow. By the way - I would be interested in possibility to hit a between-the-legs-shot.

I've been wondering about the same thing, and I've seen my CPU opponents hit drive volleys very often, and some online players too, Voja for example. It would be nice to know how to hit it, because sometimes when my opponent mishits a ball it would be a good way to attack. Everytime I've tried it I only hit a regular volley, often a very weak one because there is no pace in the ball to begin with and also the ball is quite far from the net so it isn't excatly an aggressive shot. More like surprising and I've won some points with that shot too. So, if anyone knows how to hit a drive volley please tell us And Gottfried, between the legs shot could be cool and I would like to see that one happen aswell

i tinnk you need to hold the fire 2 buttons when the ball is in the air.Then as the ball gets closer yuo need to press the fire1+fire2 button but it's hard to get it right cuz you need perfect timing.I could be wrong about this tho :d

You have to step-in after your baseline strike started to do a drive in volley, but quite often the result might be a poor strike, if not a error.

Just prior to hitting the ball you have to be moving forward and catching the ball mid-air, but it's quite difficult.
Somehow Voja is able to hit a winner with a drive even with elite controls

You can hit drive volley if you enough skilled. You can do that from baseline too and near net like Sampreas do that. I guess that you need practice. The most important thing is to hit ball in right momment.
