I have never reported a player before but after my most recent match I feel extremely irritated. The player was (I believe) J.Jankovic, a master with around 2000 ELO. We were playing on my hosting, clay, realistic mode, sim controls and no preview. My opponent broke me twice, went ahead 3-0. I then broke back once, the rest of the game went on serve and ended with my defeat, 4-6.
While I can't condone that player's gamestyle (agressive flat ballbashing, with seemingly endless accelerations while extremely reluctant to tire) I can not ignore the on-court behaviour. After a long and gruelling rally which ended with my opponent's volley error, I was accused of being lucky. I started replying that opponent's errors are not my luck but I was denied the possibility of responding. After a few tries the opponent blocked the chat.
When I won a few more long rallies I was again accused of being lucky. Then the opponent started fistpumping on my errors. I decided to stay classy and not reply with the same, instead I applauded good play, like I normally do. In addition, the opponent kept checking my stats extremely often, as if in belief that I couldn't be bulldozed, as s/he was probably expexting to. When the score was 3-5 and I was serving the opponent went into the menu and stayed there for nearly half-a minute, which I assume was to stall my service rhythm (but I can't know for sure). Because the chat was blocked, I couldn't ask what was the stalling for and neither could I remind that you play according to server's pace. The final game was full of fistpumping on my opponent's side but I guess the win was very desirable.
I don't want a punishment for my opponent, I simply want to point out extremely unsportsmanlike conduct. This kind of behaviour is rather widespread. Insulting, timewasting, cheering opponent's errors (there are many polite players though, as well) and I feel this could be addressed.
