What would u say after a very disputed point then ? "it's tight"..?
In French, "it's hot" could be also used when u get crushed, it's pretty versatile term, actually :)

After a good point, you'd say something like "What a point!" You could say "The action's really heating up" as well. If you were getting crushed, you could say something like "You're on fire" or "You're too good for me". I don't know if I'm understanding what you're getting at with this, but I hope that helped.

On the Tennis Channel one of the commentators, Robbie Koenig, who I believe is British, often says after an entertaining rally, "BRILLIANT!", or "that's RIDICULOUS!!!

I love Robbie Koenig! :D And he's not British, he's South African. Oh and please don't do "That's Ridiculous" because that can be taken the wrong way as well.

Yeah...I think he's one of the best commentators EVER!! :D
I like the Tennis Channel commentators much, much better than opinionated has beens Navratilova, BOTH McEnroes, Carillo, Shriver, and of ALL people, Softie Mary Joe...who couldn't hit her way out of a WET paper bag... :P

Yeah, I guess if it COULD be taken the wrong way it most probably WILL, considering how some of these idiots think and act... :?

Koenig-Goodall is by far the best commentating team. Koenig mentions Doug Adler sometimes and says things he would say or do in a situation, but Adler's really not that great (I thought it was pretty funny when I was watching Blake-Kunitsyn in Cincinnati and he kept saying Blake was going to take the match and Kunitsyn ended up winning). Goodall really compliments Koenig quite well though. And don't even get me started on some of ESPN's people. :annoyed:

Both of you,Algo and Tog are right,i was shouting and i wanted to seem like screaming, couse im really furios bout it,Algo you say you didnt meet many players using "pffff" "I own you" "You got lucky"and that stuff but if you beleave me, when I play, at least half of players are like that(and they are no begeners but guys which i know from begining), even those who werent use that stupidnes before, and often that leads into ruffle...i honestly want to play fair and have some good time playing this game not to skirmish with someone who cant tolerate to lose a point ...most often i ignore that messages but sometimes(especially when i give applauses to his great points) i really get angry because it started to become mannerism here...
Im not mad at anybody but i think its time to deter such players of any rudnes, they will have to play or quit,i doubt one will go in menu after each point he lose and insult his opponent...
so make this game to impel friendship and fairplaying and reduce any possibility for showing someones vulgarity...thanks
