And u think people who browse this forum doesnt play? I dont think so....Almost everyone know about this forum because they played the game and for people who doesnt have messengers struggle to contact their opponents for online tournaments and all they have is this forum where we dont have a link to CHAT. For them I think a CHAT link is very much a big solution to solve all those problems. Some newbies and even some good players dont know about Tennis Elbow chat. Also when they are on forum, they dont know how to ask their opponent to come for CHAT(cuz most newbies dont know about TE chat) . May be you should keep this Chat link in Online Tennis Tournaments page. It would be a great help for us. I am not criticizing ur work, I am just giving u an idea. Hope u consider it and i always appreciate ur work on creating such a good game

With all due respect, in my opinion it's a mistake to think this way Manu. A chat is always a great way to support community emulation, whatever
activity it supports, online play, modding, whatever else, it's a positive feature. You may simply use an IRC channel with a web frontend wich
would free Managames server from any load wich may come from it.

there's big "Chat Lobby" button in the "Network" menu of the game ; tell your opponent to click on it to go to the Chat, it's easy..!

I don't want to promote the Chat for the Forum users coz :
- an answered question in the Forum => the next people with the same issue will have a chance to read it
- an answered question in the Chat => it'll be lost forever after 24 hours (and it's not really searchable during that timeframe anyway)

I didn't thought about this aspect, indeed it's a valid point.

Yeah I know it. But the problem is, when i browse this forum and see my opponent online and then i post a message in forum like "come to TE chat in network menu", it takes like atleast 2min of time and then i see my opponent leaving forum and he keeps playing in games. I dont know how to contact him. Because he checks the forum after a while say 1hr lol and in the mean time i dont know what to do because some noobs give emails in tournaments while they never come online on messenger. All we have is this forum to contact. And at the end of deadline, all the mods do is RL which is really ridiculous. So if i can chat with him over here in forum, we know chat is instantaneous then i am sure we can make a deal without having the messenger crap.
The problems u told to Elias are important. I think u shud create a (Bulb type) locked topic with the name CHAT and then provide TE chat link there. So u dont need to answer anything. The people click the link to go for CHAT of the game that we see in network menu. So the noobs who come online to the forum will go for it to find their opponent. And please make a new rule for tournaments, that a player should contact his opponent on CHAT window atleast once. Then we can no more have RLs in tournaments(unless if the match is laggy though).

If your opponent is never online on Skype, click the "Call Mod" button with the correct label and it'll help you to get a WO instead of a RL.

Well i think that helps me...i didnt knew about it. But i still think mods go for RLs whenever they see my opponent write one message in forum and then he never comes online Anyways thanks for your information

Otherwise if there is no need for this chat (it sounds like you dont want the chat to be used) you can take it off
