I'm fairly sure that ELO inflating a lot. As I started to play online, you have to play awesome to beat a guy with an ELO of 2000. Now, tough players have an ELO of 3000+ although they are playing same level. Here's a description of this issue.

I hadn't noticed the 3000+ players, but I had noticed the average ELO of active players significantly increased since 1 years (got almost +10%) ; it's not really a problem though, except if you want to compare today ELO's against past ELO's.
Anyway, I'll keep an eye on the phenomena, and tune a bit the system if it gets too crazy.

Maybe ranking name should be adapt, e.g, from 3.000 is the new master etc.
