I played with a Player 1 (ELO 923). We played one game that took about 10 minutes. Everytime I won a point, I mean EVERY TIME I hit a winner, it restarted the point. After a while I let him have the point, and is was 15-0 him. Same, same, same, until finally it was 40-15 him after 10 minutes of me smacking winners. The only point I won was when he double faulted. He also did not deny his cheating, but simply said "play play play" over and over. How can he do this? This was a valuable waste of my time and I'm it will be of others.

If he tells to play then quit ! The Connexion is poor ! that's not a cheat, it's only a bad connexion, don't play with him or try to find something. Maybe this can be from this player.

This happens when connection is not stable, you can fix it by quitting the match and playing a rematch. I noticed that this often happens when I host a game and it takes a couple of minutes (let's say 5 and more) for some other player to join.

to check if your opponent is actually cheating, or if it's coz of either a bad connection, or a modded game, then instead of hitting a winner, try to hit a ball that is out for just a few centimeters, or just miss to hit the ball from a few cm after a few rally shots. If you get a resync as well, it'll mean he's not cheating...

Yes, I tried these and other things for about 5 minutes. The only time I won a point after about 20 points was when he double faulted. He also laughed when I accused him and did not deny it, making it seem like he knew he was playing unfairly.

I'd like to refer to Manutoo ,

This thing isnt about cheat but its about desynch,so as i couldnt find a desynch topic i decided to write here.Sorry if wrong.

I just played a match with Hakanomoku (at 18.40) and we had a desynch.,so we decided to play another match.
Then he had 15-30 at my serve and i won the next point and had a desynch and he was fair enough to give me that point.Then at 30-30 i won the point and there was a desynch again.He didnt give me the point and we had to play the same point over and over again 3-4 times and i chated him to be fair as he is and to give me the point and he told me that he has won the point and i should give him the exact point.I disagreed,of course,and told him that i won the point.
After a short argue we came out to the conclusion that i see my winner on the screen and he sees an error.And we agreed that we should write about that bug to you.
Now as i have seen that once more,i can recall the same situation with Feliciano Lopez in one match more than 5 times and once with Stefan Edberg.
Is there a possible solution?

yup, desync means the game isn't the same on the 2 computers, thus, there's nothing much to do except replay the point till it works...
