Hey,

For the first time i'm trying to play online, but i seem to have these problems:

- i cannot create a game(it says the connection failed)
- i cannot play against someone
- constant freezing

My firewalls off, and i have the newest TE version
any ideas to solve these problems ??

do you already have DirectX 9.0c or above ?
If not, install it now.

Can you actually play a bit against some other online players ?

When happens the constant freezing ?

hey,

ok i've just installed directX 9.0c - but ... still the same problem

if there was to be an available game it says " something something did not answer" and ...

The freezing happens when i try to create a game (for about 5 mins ) then it says
"can't contact global server! Your internet connection down?"
It also sometimes happens when i look at the list of available games

ouch, it seems it's really not working well...
Could you try to turn off your firewall if you have one ..?

Humm, sorry I don't have anymore idea...
Have you been able to play any other online game ?

i have some new information that might help

when i try to create a game and connection test failed i clicked retry and it said

"it seems your pc is not reachable, other players from internet might not be able to join your game
please check that UDP port 4321 is open in your firewall and/or router"

Also when i try to play someone and it says "the game did not answer" after 5 minutes of freezing a windows messages comes up saying

"your system is low on virtual memory, windows is increasing the size of your virtual memory paging file" bla bla bla

I guess if i cant play online its not the end of the world
but thanks for trying to help me out
