Hi Manu,

I'm currently in the process of creating some new tournament intro commentaries to bring them up to date and add the ones that are missing. Just wanted to ask about using tournament locations to link them with the IntroName field in the Tour.ATP data file.

In the default intros txt file, there are two separate sets of intros for "Stuttgart" - one on grass and one on clay. Using IntroName = Stuttgart will always play the grass tournament intros, even if it's listed with a clay tournament. The grass intros come first in the txt file.

However, there are also two separate sets of intros for "London" - one for Queen's and one for the Tour Finals. Using IntroName = London for both of those tournaments in the data file will still always play the correct intros for each of those events.

From this, can I assume that in addition to looking for the tournament location that matches the IntroName field in the data file, it is also making sure that it matches with an appropriate tournament type? So, in the case of "London", it knows to use the two different sets of intros for the two different types of tournament (TET500 and Tour Finals), but with "Stuttgart", they are both listed as TET250 in the txt file, so it always just goes with the first one listed?

That doesn't seem to be what determines it though, as you can move the tournaments anywhere in the calendar and they will still play the correct intro if the IntroName matches the location listed in the txt file.

I was just curious about what happens when there are duplicate locations in the txt file, as is the case with Stuttgart and London. Specifying the correct week doesn't seem to make much difference, as "Stuttgart" will always play the grass court tournament intros, not the clay ones. However, with "London", it knows which one to play for Queen's and which to use for the Tour Finals, even if you change the weeks.

Indeed, the week is just used for checking, but not for matching.

The intros are matched with the Level, the exact same Name (except if Intro name is "generic"), and the Formula (used only by the Round Robins, I guess).
